Dentist
Hello Sobana!
If you actually look around, you won't find any industry that's not overcrowded. Look at the stream engineering, law, fashion, management, everywhere students are struggling to grab the seat of their dreams. Infact struggling even after getting the degree. Therefore the scenario with dentistry is nothing different. It's just that in order to stand out from the crowd, you have to pull yourself up, make a goal and put that extra effort to achieve. You shouldn't be looking for the less crowded streams as you may find none, but you can find ways to stand out in that crowd and you will achieve a lot.
All the best!

Dear Gaurav,
Thank you for your query. A Dentist in India has the options to either join a Hospital on salary basis or be self employed. Again, it would depend on the hospital you join or the place of business. Some reputed hospitals offer starting salary of around 40,000/- to 55,000/-. For Self Employed, it depends on lot of factors and the length of successful practice.
