I fail in 1 subject in 12 th but now I gave re-exam I pass 12 th and scored 52% . Can I give neet 2021 ? I didnt give neet 2020 because of fear of getting less marks. Can I become Doctor?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 6th Jan, 2021

Hi

You don't need to worry at all even if you had failed earlier in one subject and then you reappeared for 12th and passed with 52 % . There will be no problem because of this.

But what is your % in aggregate of PCB i. e. physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology, you have just mentioned that you have 52% in your class 12 th but your overall percentage in class 12th is not considered for Neet eligibility criteria only your aggregating PCB is considered.

To be eligible for neet,

you must h ave passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category  , or at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

So, if you fulfill this percentage requirement in PCB as per your category then you are definitely eligible for Neet 2021 examination and after qualifying Neet examination on the basis of marks/ rank obtained by you in neet you can get a seat in a medical college and become a doctor

Also,
to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by  31st  December 2021

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

And don't be afraid of Neet examination you can definitely be a doctor it all depends upon the amount of effort you put towards your neet preparation so if you fulfill above criteria and you are eligible you can go ahead with your preparation following the below tips and if you sincerely follow them then you can definitely get a seat  in a medical college

*Go well through NCERT and master it
*Make routine or timetable :- your routine should revolve around 3 things i.e study, revise and practice
*After finishing each chapter you should practice questions, you should practise at least 80 to 100 numericals / mcqs in Each chapter
*Solve previous year NEET questions
*Once done with complete syllabus, go through NEET mock test papers

You can prepare well using our neet program  for which link is provided below

My parents are forcing me for neet and they want me to become a doctor but I dont want to be a doctor I want to be a gangster. So what should I do for it

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 5th Jan, 2021

Hi Dear,

Gangster is no career and you cannot consider it as a career option. Gangster is someone who is involved in violent activities and is a criminal. If you have thoughts of becoming a gangster then I'll recommend you to talk to your parents or teachers about it. Also, try to involve yourself into non violent activities and focus on things which makes your life good in the long run. Doctor is a good career option. However, if you don not want to be a doctor, then talk to your parents about it and look for some other career option suitable for you.

Good Luck

Im an engineering graduate student. I completed diploma in civil engineering after matrik(10th). Now I want to be a doctor. is this possible? if yes than tell me whole procedure.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Feb, 2021
Hi

With diploma in civil engineering you are not eligible for doing MBBS

This is because

Admission in MBBS through Neet examination and neet  eligibility criteria says that
to be eligibleyoumust be either appearing for 12th /equivalent examination or shouldhave passed it examination with physics, chemistry,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

-) at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

-) at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category

-)at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

You fail to fulfill this criteria as although diploma is equivalent to 10 + 2 but you wouldn't have studied  biology, physics, and Chemistry in your diploma in civil engineering.

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

Do you still want to be eligible for neet and pursue mbbs and become a doctor?

Here's the solution :-

if you want to be eligible for Neet , I would suggest you to give NIOS on demand examination for 12th with all the 5 subjects including
-) physics ,
-)chemistry
-) biology
-)English
and for the 5th subject you can choose any subject of your choice like Hindi ,Sanskrit, maths or any other subject and after passing, if you fulfill the aforesaid percentage requirement in PCB aggregate i. e 50 % for general or at least 40 % for obc/sc/st or at least 45 % for ph student then you will be eligible for neet and can get admission in MBBS on the basis of marks obtained by you in the Neet examination and after the completion of your MBBS you will become a doctor and can practice.

Thank you

which stream is better PCM /PCB because I am really confused? some of my family members says PCB is hard and it is lengthy and its all about memorization and learning while PCM is all logical and thinking stream. some says that PCB / doctor have much chances of getting jobs and private clinics

Prachi Pant 3rd Jan, 2021

Hello student,

The first point you need to understand about choosing the stream is that, never do it under any parental or peer pressure, choose the stream as per your interest. When you find the subjects interesting then only you can enjoy learning and grasping things keeping into your knowledge.

All the streams ( Arts, Commerce and Science ) have scopes and ample of opportunities for student who are willing to accomplish in life. First of all, decide your aim. Then explore about it. Choosing the stream after this brief consideration will help you to build your career.

All the courses have different eligibility criteria. So as per your aim and future career you will have to choose the stream.

The chance of getting a job doesn't depends upon the stream but upon one's choice of course and other factors ( additional qualifications, past experience, interests, achievements and certificates) . So choose your stream carefully.

Thanks

Which type can I become after bsc botany in plant. Like plants doctor like that not mbbs does. What are the scope and career with salary in bsc botany. Please guide

DrTeeth 28th Dec, 2020
after you pursue BSC in botany, you can do your Masters in science (MSC) in botany. MSC is a postgraduate degree which is an essential pre- requisite for Doctorate degree or Ph D in botany. This is different from a medical doctor in many ways. After PHD, you can go towards teaching as a professor (in universities) or even research.
