This is the best advice I can give you from my experience

Better you opt for Diploma course

The reason why I am saying it that you don't have to go through entrance exam like jee and mhcet

3 year diploma. Then as per the final year percentage you can get into degree college
But Apart form (NIT IIT ) this college ask for JEE main or JEE advanced

If you are not sure about cracking JEE main then don't waste your time behind it .There are alot of student who couldn't clear JEE-main they get badly stuck after they don't score .The only option left for them is High fees college or Repeat JEE main and 12th(Improvement)

But if you choose diploma you don't have to go through JEE main or any entrance
Only you need to score in last year.
And you will get some pre-enginnering knowledge also which is very important

But let me warn you if you choose Diploma for 3 year then you can't get into any other field expect Engineering only

Rohit Nuwal 1st Sep, 2020

Hello!

getting govt. college depends on cut off of various college and it varies on different college and if you are general category student then you will have tough competition.

so if you do not get admission in 1st counselling then you will definitely get admission in 2nd counselling.

should learn drawing to write exams for NIFT

Mimansa 4th Sep, 2020
Greetings aspirant!

Well not a very good knowledge of drawing is required to sit for nift, but yes you should have a little knowledge and imagination. You can start drawing things you see around you to practice. Nift search for creative ideas and not good drawing skills as long as your drawing skills are presentable it will do. You can go through previous year papers and have an idea about what type of things you will have to draw. https://design.careers360.com/articles/how-crack-nift-entrance

Hope it helps.
Thankyou!

since the drawing question paper pattern has been changed so the practice that we did all these year is all into vein!!!

swetaasnigdhha 24th Jul, 2020
Hii,

"Nothing that you have practiced or learnt goes in vein"

The drawing you have practiced for architecture exams won't go in vein. Yes , now there would be no drawing exams and you will not be judged on the basis of your drawing skills parameters. But the drawing skills that you have learnt and practiced didn't go in vein , it will help you in future in your architecture college. Surely for this exam it won't help you , but it will keep helping you throughout your degree and further too.

All the best
