Hello,

The UPSC Drug Inspector Exam is divided into two papers. The syllabus for paper 1 includes: Forensic Pharmacy, Manufacturing Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy, and Physiology & Health Education.

The paper 2 is general awareness paper that includes History, Geography, Politics, Indian Constitution, Society, etc.

After clearing the written exam, candidates need to clear personal interview round.

The career as a Durg Inspector is considered as the most sorted profession in the field of Pharmacy. To become a drug inspector, candidates are required to go through a selection process conducted by the UPSC and/ or SPSCs.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates are usually required to hold a degree in Pharmacy or Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Degrees with specialisation in Microbiology or Clinical Pharmacology are usually preferred.
  • Minimum Age Required: 21 years
  • Maximum Age Required: 30 years and a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates at some organisations.

Age of the candidate is between 21-30 both are inclusive

a candidate must have completed his graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmacology or microbiology or medicine or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

candidates may go for higher studies to gain more knowledge in this field but it is not compulsory for exams.

subjects required physics, biology/microbiology, chemistry/biotechnology.

it is very hectic job and pay is high in this field before continue you must have a look on drug inspector as a career

A Drug Inspector is a professional in the field of Pharmacy who is an expert in monitoring and executing efficiency, safety, quality and usefulness of drugs from the production stage to the final i.e, selling stage.

Age: 21-30

Students have to complete degree in pharmacy or medicine.

Procedure:-

1.students need to qualify Bachelors degree in pharmacy

2.Acquire masters degree in pharmacy, whereas it is optional but it is good have good knowledge.

3.Appear for entrance exams conducted by UPSCS and SPSCS.
