Delhi University (DU) is one of the top leading universities in India. Its MA English course is one of the most popular courses, in which students across India apply.

There are approximately 400 seats available in the MA English course at Delhi University. But 50% of the seats out of those are reserved for the DU’s BA English Honors students scoring at least 60% aggregate (54% for reserved categories).

The remaining 50% (45% for reserved categories) of the seats are available through DU MA English Entrance 2021 mode. All you need is a graduation degree from a UGC-recognized University in India.

Delhi University offers admission through two modes – one is the Entrance mode, and the other is the direct mode. Accordingly, the seats are bifurcated equally, which means 50% for entrance mode, and the remaining 50% for direct mode (merit-based).

There are approximately 400 seats for the MA English course at Delhi University.

Please note, that admission under the sports quota is to be done as per the guidelines of Delhi University’s Delhi Sports Council.

Entrance Test Pattern-

Yes,  can take on Du entrance exam if you intend to take admissions in bsc. maths. For that one needs to clear 12th board examination with maths as a subject. You cannot apply for the program if you have less than 50%. The university will take admissions based on CUCET.

The University of Delhi will release the DU 2022 application form for UG courses at du.ac.in. The officials have not yet released any dates for the release of the application form. It is expected to be released in the month of April. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. The Delhi University application form 2022 for all the DU colleges will be released simultaneously, except for Jesus and Mary College and St. Stephen’s College.

There are 40 seats available in B.A. Honours (Humanities & Social Sciences). There is no specific syllabus for the entrance examination. Multiple Choice Questions on General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication Skills (English/Hindi), Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Ability will be included in the two-hour written entrance exam.
