colleges that offers the combination of maths stats economics in lucknow

monag2673 7th Jul, 2024

It seems that Lucknow does not have any colleges that provide a particular programme that integrates statistics, math, and economics. Nonetheless, several universities do have separate programmes in economics, statistics, and mathematics. Here are some alternatives to think about:

  • The University of Lucknow provides courses in economics and statistics.
  • Mathematics is offered as a curriculum at Lucknow Christian College.

I recently passed my class 12 with 94% ,i want to pursue law ,can I get admission in law school Jammu ,this year?? I appeared for cuet exam and the domain subjects are history, geo, political science and economics..can I get admission here corresponding to my subjects in cuet exam

monag2673 25th Jul, 2024

There might be a good chance! The Law School, Jammu University, traditionally accepted students through their own entrance exam (JUET) for the BA LLB program. However, in 2024, admissions switched to CUET scores.

While your CUET subject combination (History, Geo, Political Science, Economics) isn't directly law-related, it fulfills the eligibility criteria we can find online.  Your score of 94% is definitely impressive.

Here's what to do next:

  • Confirm the official admission process for 2024 on the Law School, Jammu University website.
  • Look for any specific CUET cut-off scores for the BA LLB program (though your score is strong).
  • Since admissions are new via CUET, past cut-off information based on JUET might not be relevant.

hope this helps you!!

Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, AMM, BMC, Commerce professional, Computer application, Accounting and finance, Data science and analytics, CEMS which is best for HR in bba

monag2673 19th Jul, 2024

For HR in BBA, focus on core HR and organizational management courses:

  • Organizational Management (OMM): Understands how organizations function and manage people.
  • Human Resource Management (HRM): Covers core HR practices like recruitment, training, and compensation.
  • Business Communication (BCOM): Develops communication skills crucial for HR, like writing and conflict resolution.
  • Industrial Psychology: Provides insights into employee behavior for motivation and engagement.

While beneficial, other subjects are less directly relevant:

  • Math & Stats: Develop analytical skills for data-driven HR decisions.
  • Economics: Understands economic principles for compensation and benefits.
  • Accounting & Finance: Basic understanding can be helpful for HR budgeting.
  • Computer Applications & Data Science: Valuable for analyzing HR data.

Choose courses based on your interests and career goals, but core HR and management are essential.

I am now doing graduation on geography from university of calcutta. My general subjects are economics and sociology. Can I apply for jam IIT for geology?

Nitin Kumar 31st May, 2024

Based on the information available for IIT JAM 2024, applying for Geology with a Geography degree from Calcutta University might be difficult.  IIT JAM requires candidates to have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field for three years/six semesters. This could include subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences alongside Geology courses.

Your graduation is in Geography, a distinct field from Geology. While there might be some overlap, it likely wouldn't fulfill the specific Geology course requirement for JAM.

I am currently working and completed my graduation (BA in Political Science) & MA (Economics) through distance learning (IGNOU). I have been working for more than 5 years now in back office opertaions. Now planning to pursue US CPA & certification in Data Science and ML. Would that be a good option?

monag2673 25th Jul, 2024

This could be a good option, but it depends on your career goals. Here's why:

  • Strengths: US CPA adds financial expertise and data science/ML opens doors to tech and analytics roles.
  • Considerations: Both require significant time commitment. Is your workload manageable?
  • Alignment: Do these fields complement your current work (e.g., data analysis in finance)?

Recommendation: Research data science/ML applications in finance. If aligned with your interests, this combo could be a powerful career move. However, ensure you can handle the workload and consider focusing on one first.

hope this helps you!!

I regret choosing economics as this subject doesnt give me the same satisfaction as history. also I cant quit midway so Is it possible to do any diploma in archaeology after completing my graduation in economics? Im more interested in the field work and research.(Also I had history + geography in higher secondary)

Nitin Kumar 7th Jun, 2024

Having a degree in Economics won't hinder your pursuit of Archaeology.  .It's commendable that you are following your interest in history and archaeology. While Economics is valuable, a career fueled by passion can be very rewarding.

Many universities and colleges in India offer diploma courses in Archaeology. These programs typically last for one or two years, depending on the institution. Since you have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (though with a backlog) and higher secondary education with History and Geography, you'd likely be eligible for most Diploma in Archaeology programs. They might require a minimum percentage in your higher secondary exams, so check with specific colleges.

Your Economics background can be surprisingly beneficial in Archaeology:

  • Data Analysis: Archaeological research often involves analyzing large datasets from excavations and surveys. Your Economics background could be an asset in this area.

  • Resource Management: Archaeology projects require budgeting and resource management skills, which your Economics knowledge can help with.

Choose the Right Program: Look for Diploma programs with a strong focus on fieldwork and research. Many programs include practical components like excavation simulations or archaeological site visits.

Highlight Your Interests: During the application process, highlight your passion for fieldwork and research in your statement of purpose.

    I hope it helps!
