Electronics Engineering is a branch of electrical engineering. The discipline studies the use of electromagnetic spectrum in a broad way and is related to the application of electronic devices like integrated circuits, transistors etc.
Choosing a branch totally depends on your interest. ECE is one of the most demanding branch among students. It has good growth in the future as electronics industry is in boom.
Good Luck!!
It depends on your skill & capability & also matters where you are working. But the minimum package you can expect 25 to 30,000 per month.
Good Luck!
Below are the main difference between electrical and electronics engineering-
EEE: In EEE, students have to studyElectrical as well as Electronics. It is the study and application of electrical systems for use in different environments and contains basic electronic courses and more power system.
ECE: Here, aspirants deal with Electronics with some part of communication. The subject uses the scientific knowledge of the behaviour and effects of electrons to develop devices, systems, or equipment that uses electricity as part of its driving force. Also it contains basics on electrical machines and more on integrated circuits and communication systems.
Yes, this is the ideal time to get ready for your Gate exam so I would suggest you to attempt it this year, also you can follow below provided preparation tips - 1. Know the syllabus very well. 2. Read standard books only as there are many books available in the market so it is advisable to use the books which make all your concepts clear and which are easy to understand. 3. Understand the weightage of topics properly. 4. Proper Revision plan should be followed. 5. Mock Tests and Practice Tests should be done as this will help you to learn time management skills and this will also make you familiar with the exam pattern. Hope this helps!!!
See, the future of Electrical Engineering is always bright as it is one of the core branch and now especially in the Indian Institute of Technologies or IITs, electrical engineering and ECE is mixed, which is very close to computer science and as a result all the companies which come for CSE for placements also allow EE and ECE students to appear, as the course is very much the same for both.
So, if you want to go for Electrical in IIT BHU, it is a very good decision and I'll recommend you to go forward with it. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
