Sharon Rose Student Expert 21st May, 2021

Hello,

The cut off varies every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination, total number of seats available, performance of the candidates etc. By analyzing the past years cut off you need to secure rank below 40,000 to get seat in Electronics and Computer Engineering to get admission in to Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. But as said earlier the cut off changes every year so to be on safe side you should aim to core minimum 50 marks to above in VITEEE 2021. This is an estimated score the rank with respective to the indicated score may vary depending on the highest score, lowest score, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc.

MSC ELECTRONICS OR MSC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 28th Mar, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

MSc electronic and MSc information technology are two different degrees. To get admission in any of these you must have completed BSc or any related bachelor's degree with the required subjects. MSc IT would land you to the software industry, if you have good interest in working with the softwares, applications, programming languages then join this, provided you must have some knowledge about the programming languages because in master's you will not be learning the basis. But if you have good interest in conductors, semiconductors then join electronics. Both these branches have a wide scope not only in India but in foriegn countries as well. Salary as a fresher for MSC varies between 3.5 to 6 LPA.

Thankyou!
