Electronics
Hello Aspirant,
See if you want to get good salary package then I would recommend you to go with Electronic & Communication Engineering branch because it will have much scope in product based companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft and likewise but if you want to pursue Chemical engineering then also you can get placement as same or even better than that for Electronic & Communication Engineering.
If I would personally explain you then branch does not matter for placement which has been proven by an Hon'ble CEO of Google, Mr. Sundar Pichai who has completed his engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur in Metallurgical Engineering but still he is CEO of the Google company.
For placement in above companies you must have good control over some programming languages such as Java, C++, C and along with this you should have good problem solving approach for Data Structures and Algorithm. Along with this you should also have good knowledge of DBMS and OS. Last but not the least you should maintain your CGPA above 8 at least for better chances in such companies.
So whatever branch you choose you have to work hard to develop different skills because good package is not offered on the basis of your branch instead for your skills which you have to showcase.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!

Hey
We should not consider specific subjects in BSc program that has high demand and pay. The subjects are treated equal in every field. When you go for higher studies after the completion of the graduation, chances of more good job opportunities increases.
Computer science is a popular course that has high demands but the chances of placements depends upon various factors such as college, cgpa, academic record, past experience if any, etc. The scope of electronics just after graduation is limited. In order to get good chance of placements with good packages in any field, higher studies or professional courses are in demand.
Thank you
