I believe you should check for your home state NIT.You might be able to fetch a seat in a circuital branch. At all India Level, you can get EC or EE at the following NITs and GFTIs
NIT Raipur NIT Puducherry NIT Hamirpur
NIT Silchar NIT Agartala NIT Patna
IIEST Shibpur BIT Mesra
From my personal experience, I can tell you if you dont have any vicinity issues, either of IIEST Shibpur/ BIT Mesra or NIT Raipur/NIT Patna Electrical might prove to best choice, taking into account the Placements, Academics as well as Infrastructure.

Hello student,
With a rank of around 31,000 in the general category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the top nits comparing the trends of the past years. The closing ranks for VNIT, Nagpur was around 28,000 in civil engineering and around 38,000 in mining engineering. However, you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
According to your rank obtained there seems chances of yours to get CSE branch. The rank you obtained comes under the closing rank required to get CSE when compared with previous year closing rank. There are chances you may get CSE,ECE,EEE and lower branches in Amritapuri but in Coimbatore there seems less chances to get CSE as the top branches does not comes under your rank.So there seems chances of yours to get CSE in Amritapuri in the 4th round but not in Coimbatore.
You can also visit the link below to see previous year closing rank:

Hope this will help you!
All the best for your bright future!
The qualifications they mention are pass in 3 year diploma ( respective engineering stream) granted by the state board of technical examination with minimum 45% aggregate marksor equivalent
OR
Pass in.B sc degree with mathematics in 12th standard from the recognized University with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent
They don't mention anything about state related so you can apply for Manipal University
Thankyou
Hi,
Well yes since the electronics and instrumentation kind of overlaps in a lot of terms, different universities allow students to apt for MS in electronics if they come from EIE background. Just research more and see individual eligibility criteria of different colleges.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
Hello Student,
See,all branches of engineering are good in their ways.which branch to choose is entirely depends on your interest regarding that field. See ECE mainly deals with the embedded systems, digital electronics, control system,V LSL design, wireless and radio communication systems. After completion of degree in ECE,there are various opportunities. 1.Core companies -Designing department -Production sector -research department. 2.Software companies -coding -testing -solution architect Also. You can get a job in public sector, government sector or private sector.
EIE is new and advanced branch of engineering with various chances of placements . It is also more preferable by students as it provides various opportunities and bright future. This branch is almost similar to ECE.The btech in EIE deals with the maintainence, design and development of instruments within the industries Instrumentation engineers work is to decide best quality instruments to be used for final product manufacturing. There are lots of opportunities in this field also.you can work in the field of power supply,.you can work in the field of chemical plant, you can get software jobs, after degree completion you can also go for higher education. But, As I said Which branch to choose is entirely depends on your interest regarding that branch, your knowledge about that branch And also depends on for which branch you feel sure about...!!! So start focusing on that first and then proceed.
Good luck
