I have got seat in electronics and instrumention at sastra in round 2 concealing but I need cse can I wait till round three counselling without getting admission in allotted branch

Nikhitha Sai 16th Aug, 2020

Hello student. If you had gotten seat in ece then t would have been easier to get cse in 3rd round of councelling. Since its electronics and instrumention, it is a bit tougher and chances ae less to get cse in 3rd round. But stiill ouu can try. Even if you donot get this cse in 3rd round, you will be given the option of sliding after 1st year if you score well.

Which engg course is better to pursue my career in the field of robotics. Recently I have been allotted ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION seat in MIT,manipal campus. Can I join in this course to make my future in robotics? Please give me a best suggestion regarding this problem.

NITIN KUMAR CHHABRA 24th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant ,

This branch is also a good option for you , if you have interest in robotics . In making a single robot it does not mean that only a electronics engineer will make it . It involves many type of engineers liek ME , ECE etc to make a whole robot .

Also there will be some robotic clubs in your college also , so must join them. There you will learn about robotics from beginner to advance level . And the best thing is that , you have to consult your seniors , they will guide you in this matter . There are various scope for robotics in foreign .

Hope it helps .

Which better. Electronics and BITS Goa or Mechnical at BITS Pilani

Palak kumari 21st Sep, 2020

Hey aspirant,

I can't suggest you about the branch with which you should go for as it totally depends upon your interest. As of course you can't waste your four years studying something in which you are not at all interested. So, you should go with the branch in which you feel the most comfortable.

Now, talking about both the colleges then I guess placement of both the BITS are quite same. The highest package offered at bits pilani is 1.4cr per annum and average is about 10-15lpa.whereas, in BITS GOA the average is offered around 6-10lpa.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

A student is studying B.E CSE .Is it required to buy a laptop or any other electronics. If so in what amount? Will he need to work in high price laptops I.e.,above 40,000.I hope you will give the right solution.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 9th Aug, 2020

hi,

see since you are from computer science department , you need a laptop or desktop computer must. however laptop is a good option if you are staying in hostel. now coming to electronics devices,  it depends on college projects or technical fest if you want to participate in any of it, students makes small projects which need IC chips, microprocessors, leds etc. so its totally depends on your curriculum and syllabus and your choices to do projects.

however now a days there is many types of laptops , which ranges from 25k-1 lakhs or even more. however you need to consider some requirements to buy a laptop like it must have latest operating system like windows 10, has 1 TB hard disk, processor should be intel i3 or more. if it has preinstalled ms office this would be a plus point. check the reviews before buying any laptop.

hope you may understand.
