Hello Vivek,
See there is no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main but it is required for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs and as per current criteria the 75% criteria has been waived off and now you only need to pass in class 12th so as you have passed in class 12th so you are definitely eligible for admission as well as for JEE-Main and if you qualify JEE-Main then you can definitely appear for JEE-Advance through which you can get admission in IIT Bombay or any other IITs depending upon your JEE-Advance rank but note that there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.
JEE-Main eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

Hello Aspirant ,
There is no difference between BTech (Bachelors of Technology ) , B.E (Bachelors of Engineering ) and B.Eng ( Bachelors of Engineering ) , these three are all 4 years Bachelors degree offered all over India and the first choice of Most of the students of PCM , different names are used by different colleges but the syllabus is almost same everywhere .
BSc ( Bachelors of Science ) is a completely different course from those 3 as it is a 3 year course (4 Years in some college ) and it focuses on one subject( physics , chemistry , maths etc ) and is more theoretical.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
To appear for AFCAT a candidate must have passed 3 year Bachelors Degree in any discipline or 4 year B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board. In addition to it the candidate must have studied Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 level and must have scored minimum 50% marks individually in Mathematics and Physics. Candidates passing in the following examination are also eligible to apply
So if you have passed B.E/B.Tech Computer Science Engineering and scored 60% marks then you are eligible to apply for AFCAT provided you must fulfill the age criteria as well. You can check eligibility criteria on the official website

Hi navya,
In order to purchase a laptop, there are various things to look before buying a laptop. Since you have mentioned that you need laptop for software engineering. So check these features for better reach and better use.
Dell and hp has better laptop ranges. Also, the prices are quite good with the features included.
Asus vivobook is also a very good laptop.
Hope this information helps you. Revert in case of any query. Thank you!!
Dear Aspirant, having a good score in GMAT and experience within some company can be helpful for forwarding an application however the admission committee decides whether you are a suitable candidate or not. As of for now you can apply in the university of interest.
Hi,
Average ISRO Satellite Center Software Engineer salary in India is 4.2 Lakhs per year for employees with less than 1 year of experience to 3 years.
Software Engineer salary at ISRO Satellite Center ranges between 3.5 Lakhs to 4.8 Lakhs per year .
Computer/ Software Engineer is not a designation per se at ISRO. Normally computer people who work here can come through two channels:
Hence, your profile can be of software engineer but designation would be either of two.
ISRO has very different approach towards computer science engineers or any engineer for that matter. ALL are engineers first thence they will be put on for work, wherever there is requirement. You need to learn and grow. If you are lucky you will be worked in your area of interest. Nevertheless the core areas computer science engineers works in isro includes
Apart from that Cs engineers are involved in
Good luck.
Hi there,
Yes you can become a software engineer if you have not taken maths in your class 12th. But you must understand that without maths you will not be able to pursue Bachelor of technology course as this course requires physics, chemistry and mainly mathematics. So, mathematics is a must subject.
Still, you are able to become a software engineer, all you need to do is to apply for BCA course because through this course a student is eligible to go for software and it related job roles that will eventually make you an engineer.
Also, you can pursue diploma in computer science but the jobs are limited and also the salary package is not good. B.Tech is preferred more.
I hope this information will help you. Thank you and very good luck!!!
See the need of well skilled engineers are still there today. So if you can gain skill in engineering, then job perspective will be much higher higher compared to anyother fields. If you see in India, the scope of Government jobs in Engineering are much higher compared to other services. The recruitment process is also faster. If you wish to go for Government R&D such as ISRO, BARC, DRDO etc then the vacancies are much higher for engineers.
So overall there are multiple scopes in Engineering rather than the package.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
