Hi
Cut off for which exam are you asking about? Your profile suggests that you are an engineering aspirant so I am guessing that you are asking about jee main
It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
*number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
*kind of marks obtained by them ,
*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying CUT OFF percentile to be eligible for JEE advanced is given below for different categories on the basis of past year trends :
. . JEE MAIN CUT OFF PERCENTILE
Category jeemain2020 jeemain2021 expected off
General :- 90.3765335 90-95
GEN-EWS :- 70.2435518 70 -75
OBC-NCL :- 72.8887969 70 -75
SC :- 50.1760245 50 -55
ST :- 39.0696101 40 - 45
PwD :- 0.0618524 1- 2
You can check the same at our page the link is provided below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
So, for sc category, qualifying cut off is expected to be around 50 - 55 percentile.
If you are asking about in NITs etc, then you need at least around 9000 sc rank i. e at least around 85 percentile in jee main.

Hi aspirant,
Congratulations on your phenomenal performance in AEEE 2021. See, it would not be possible to get CSE with the mentioned rank at Coimbatore campus under open quota as it most common choice of AEEE aspirants and has tough competition. As of ECE, the chances are slim as the previous closing ranks are close to 3000 but it is expected to shoot up considering the tough competition and tie ups in various ranks.
Your chances at Amritapuri campus are much better as there is comparatively less hustle. You will surely get a seat in ECE or either of the different CSE programs. This campus is almost at par with the main campus for engineering due to excellent faculty members and highly active placement cells and chapters. It only fall backs in terms of area and infrastructure in comparison but you will get equal opportunities. You might not know in the nirf engineering rankings, it is the Amritapuri campus which has been mentioned although Coimbatore campus is the oldest campus.
Hope it helps!!
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 35k rank in the manipal entrance examination. Taking into consideration you are wanting to opt for any branch in manipal main campus.
So, let me tell you looking at the previous year trends in this rank you would get lower branches like civil, chemical, biomedical, media technology.
I would recommend you to not to opt for these branches as it is not at all worth it. You will end up getting placed in some bulk hiring companies. The Roi factor is very bad for this college. So choose wisely.

Dear Aspirant,
For every phase there is a counselling round like if you want to participate in the first round of counselling then your phase 1 marks will be considered in the seat allotment. Some seats are already filled in the first round so there is not much seats are left for the further round.
As you want to appear for the phase 3 then you have participate in the third round of the counselling, and on the basis pf availability of seats and your rank they will allot your preferred seat.
Best Of Luck!!!
