is the rank given in comparison of college is of home state or other state?

Ayush 8th Jul, 2021

Hello candidate,

When you are applying for the entrance examination of any particular Institute or college, the rank in your result card refers to your overall position among the entire number of students participated in in the the examination.

Mostly of the colleges which offer home state and other state quota also provide a separate rank of state rank for the applied candidates belonging to the same state so that they can provide around 75% or any specific percentage of seats reserved under the home state quota to those selected students, and the remaining percentage of seats are open for other states candidate for admission.

Hope you found it helpful!!
