The process of doing a admission counselling depends on a lot of factors such as the preferences you are filling in your form the marks or rank which you have scored and also the branch in which you are looking for admission. Now as you have scored a really good marks in your entrance exam hence, seeing it i can guess mostly you will be get called by the 2nd round or confirmed in third round on the basis of your preference and which branch you are looking for so always try to get updates regarding your counselling process.
Hello dear aspirant
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on successful completion of your VITEEE exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 22,000, it's difficult to get CSE seat in Vellore campus in any fee category. You can try applying for CSE seat at their Chennai campus in last two categories as the cut-off for CSE in 1st fee category at Chennai campus was 33,000 in the year 2015. Whereas, you can secure a CS, ECE or any other seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in first fee category itself as these are recently established.
VIT AP and VIT Bhopal offer many specialisations in CSE branch such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security and Digital forensics, Gaming Technology, Health Informatics, Networking and Security, Data Analytics, Robotics, Business Systems. These courses are future ready and have high placement opportunities. You can opt for the one you like from these specialisations.

Hi Aspirant,
Almost all the universities and colleges have same syllabus for BTech CSE first year. In first year of Engineering , regardless of the stream you are admitted in the syllabus remains same for most of them. Some universities group up all the streams of BTech into two and then provide them one subject cycle among them out of the two cycles of subjects- Physics cycle and Chemistry Cycle. Like say group A containing students from BTech branches like CSE,CivilE,BME are given Physics cycle in 1st semester, then in 2nd sem they will be given subjects from Chemistry cycle. And the student other than CSE ,CivilE,BM would be given Chemistry cycle in first sem and Physics cycle in 2nd sem.
In Physics cycle, subjects include: Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Basics of Civil Engineering, Basics of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Drawing, Laboratory in either of the theory subjects studied like Physics or Engineering Mathematics.
While in Chemistry cycle, subjects are: Chemistry, Engineering Mathematics, Elements of Mechanical Engineering, Basic Electronics, C-programming and the labs in theory subjects like Chemistry and C-Programming.
The subtopics are mostly the continuation of whatever contents you have studied in 10+2.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!
