doing bcom in English medium is use full for future or kannada medium or medium not effect for future

Subhrajit Mukherjee 8th Dec, 2021

See if you know the crux of the subject then the medium don't matter. But if you go for English medium then you get some benefits which are stated below:

  • In English medium you will get a lot of variety of books for BCOM which you will not be able to find for the Kannada medium. Also you can get the soft copy of various books from the internet through which you can study, but if you go for the kannada medium then you will get very few books soft copy.
  • Now if you get a job after your BCOM and if the company is based in some place else or in some other state, then knowing the English Terminology regarding the subject matter will be very much helpful.
  • If you go for the Masters and other professional courses such as MBA, CA etc then you will probably not find adequate books for the studies in kannada language. You may have to consider with english books.

So as per my opinion if you don't have major problems, then it would be better to start with English medium so that you can access multiple career opportunities ahead.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
