Hello Candidate,
The category wise percentile cutoff for various categories to appear for the JEE advanced examination is decided by the national testing agency once all the four terms of the JEE mains examinations have been completed and the results have been declared. So the national testing agency will only decide the qualifying criteria for JEE Mains examination only after the stage 3 and stage 4 rounds are completed. From the last previous year trends the percentile cutoff for general category was around 90 percentile, whereas for OBC it was around 85 percentile.
Hope that you have found it helpful. For more details you can visit https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff/amp

Economically Weaker Section(EWS) category is merely not decided on the carpet area of candidate's residential flat. For EWS category, the candidate should verify that their annual family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum and their family must not own more than 5 acres of agriculture land. Along with that they should also prove that their residential flat area is below 1000 sq ft and who do not belong to any category such as SC/ST/OBC across India, nor to MBC in Tamil Nadu.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!
