This year the correction window will open from 8 August to 12 August . You can correct your mistake then.

Dear aspirant,

It's unfortunate that you're forced to go through this problem. As it seems, there must be a typing error in the result sheet where your name got printed both in the EWS and OBC sections. I would suggest you to not worry. If you applied for the OBC option during the registration of NTSE Stage-I, then keep your name under the OBC category as your reference and ignore your name printed in the EWS category. Also, I would like to congratulate you for clearing Stage 1 of NTSE.

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that this can might be issue while verifying the registeration for admit card . I would advise you to mail a gentle apology to authorities  of du mentioning that you have dont have certificate for now ,so I uploaded  income certificate to be in safe zone . Attach the underatking mentioning that you will provide latest certificate at the time of admission

Yes you can get a seat at some colleges in India but the ranking if that college would be low something like 3 tier engineering college of India.

Regarding branch nothing can be said it all depends on the merit list of the applied candidates .

The expected rank with the given score is expected to be in between 30000-40000. The actual rank may vary which depends on total number of candidates appeared, top score, tie breakers, normalized score etc. Also IPE marks are not considered this year to determine the rank. Considering the cut off in 2019 you have chances of getting seat in Computer Science Engineering in the following institutes under EWS category

If you got 98.6 percentile, then your CRL rank would be in the range 14,000 - 16,000. With this score your EWS category rank would be 2,100 - 2,500.

Yes, you can get Computer Science and Engineering in NIT Durgapur. Last year, the closing rank (EWS category) for Computer Science was 4856, so surely you can get CSE in NIT Durgapur.

If you're talking about that the candidate has already given his JEE Mains examinations and the results for that particular session have been out, then if you change your category from general to generals ews then it would not affect the result or rank of that previous attempt which you have already given and whose results have been declared.

By changing the category to general EWS you can attempt the examination in the the next sessions, where you will be treated as a a reserved category student rather than a General candidate.
