EWS category
Hello,
If you are applying Delhi University for national list then you are a general category candidate. Because EWS is mandatory for general category candidate who are economical weaker sections. Like if your parents income less than 8 lakh per annum then you are under EWS category. Otherwise you are a normal general category candidate. But if you apply as State quota candidate then you are an OBC category candidate. I hope you can understand.
All the best.

Hello Student
For admission in Ba geography in Delhi University candidate has to secure at least 75% marks in 12 arts and have marks in best of four subject in aggregate with English 85% in 12th arts group.
Ford BA geography Honours in Delhi University the same rules are followed.
As you have got 87.5% in 12th class examination and as you are belong to e w s category then you have a bright chance for getting admission in Delhi University in Ba geography Honours course.
Hope this helps.
As you can see that your question is little incomplete as you have not mentioned the name of the field for which actually you are looking Government colleges in Delhi, so saying about it would nit be easy, but definitely i can say you that there are benefits of state quota as a the most seats are reserved for that particular state students only and a small margin of seats are secured for Out state students also. Hope so you find it little helpful.
Thank you..
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you no you can't get into any N.I.T with this rank as your percentile is very low and you should have more percentile as compared to previous year cutoff trends. Percentile higher then 96 will get you in N.I.T any thing lower then 95-96 will not get you in any N.I.T.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Hello, Aman Bangari,
You have got a very good percentile of 94.2 in JEE Mains. The counselling for your preferred college will be based upon the rank and the marks and not based upon the percentile. As per the last year, candidates who have up to 50000 rank where eligible for this branch.
I have shared you the link where you can find the cutoff rank of the previous years for your reference.
