EWS category
Hello aspirant,
If you want to get the benefits of ews category then you need to previously enrolled as ews candidate while applying for Eamcet. After the result they may not accept. Once visit your nearest helpline center they will tell you what is what.
Since you are from andhra pradesh, you can avail full fee reimbursement irrespective of your caste category. All you need is a ration card and your annual income must be less than 2.5 lakhs. This scheme is started from the year 2019.
Hope this helps
Good luck
Hello Aspirant,
Seeing your rank and category details, Yes, you can get admission into VR Siddharth Engineering College,Vijaywada into IT branch.
The previous years cutoff was 15283. And, your rank 8s coming under it. So you have good chances since the cutoff doesn't vary much as for category students.
For more information and details, you can use our college predictor link given below,

The admission chances may vary with the number of seats available , number of applicants, your category etc. So given that you belong to EWS category 5265 is a pretty good rank but is not enough for top ones like School of Planning or Maulana Azad college , anyways you may try your luck in counselling . Your best options as of now would be :
National Institute of Technology Hamirpur
National Institute of Technology Raipur
Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi
Note that this list based on previous year cutoff trends ,this may vary based on this year's scenario.
In case you do not get through counselling ,FYI the below colleges accept directly on the basis on 12 marks :
GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad
Chandigarh University
Amity University, Lucknow
KL University, Guntur

Hello,
There is no possibility of changing category once the results are announced as the results are based on your category. So, changing category can only be done when the correction window gets open before the exam, after the results you do not have any option for that.
Hope that helps.
Hello dear,
For all india rank around 1.4 lakhs and general category(even if you have EWS) y ou cannot expect a seat through all india quota as the cut off will be higher for the colleges under all india quota.Only with marks above 550 we can expect a seat through all india quota.
But there is nothing wrong in applying for all india quota, you can apply.
You should apply for state quota as the cut offs will be little lesser compared to all india quota and chances of getting a seat through state quota will be higher.
As you did not mentioned the state you belong to it os difficult to predict.
For your rank especially this year, it is difficult to secure a seat even through state quota. But in states like karnataka you have few chances.
you can use our neet ug college predictor link attached below to get a list of possible colleges you have chances of admission https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope you found this helpful.
All the best!
Cheese:)
hello,
Based on previous years trends and this years cutoff, it might be a little hard to get admission in this college because this year the scores under even reserved categories have surpassed 450. So it might be quite hard to get admission. Unfortunately, Ews does not make much of a difference, sorry.
Hope this helped. good luck for your future!
Hi

Hello aspirant!
I think you are confused between cutoff for MBBS colleges and cutoff for qualifying NEET.
The cutoff marks for qualifying NEET 2020 is 720-147 for general category and 146-113 for SC/ST/OBC category students. That means, students scoring less than 147(general) and 113(other categories) are not eligible for MBBS course.
Now, different colleges have different cutoff. Top medical colleges admit students first who have scored higher marks. Similarly, government colleges have higher cutoff marks than private medical colleges.
Now, EWS students have same cutoff marks as general unreserved . However, 10% of the seats will be reserved for them. THose candidates whose family income is less than or equal to 8LPA are eligible to apply under EWS quota.
As per the previous year, here is the cutoff trend for MBBS government colleges in MP for general category under 85% state quota:
