Hey There,
The EWS category is a subcategory of Open Category for Economically weaker people.
For you to be able to get admission in EWS category, your family income should be less than Rs. 8,00,000 per annum, having note more than 5 acres of agriculture land and residential flat area less than 1000 sq.ft.
If any of this criteria is failed to meet, you may not be able to get EWS Category.
Also, this category is for only Open Category people. So if you take admission in Open Category, you can Apply for EWS category.
Take a note that, once you take admission in open category, you may not get the other reservations' benefits if they are valid in your case.
So take your step carefully,
Hope that this answers your question...

Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

Dear Aspirant,
With the rank you have secured in B.sc Nursing in BHU Entrance exam it is difficult to get into BHU as there are only 75 seats in total and 7 seats are available for EWS category. But you can give it a try as cutoffs changes every year so this year you might get into BHU.
Hope it Helps!
