which college i got for 540 marks in neet ews category. haryana domicell

Anugraha Iyer 21st Sep, 2020

Hi Rajkumar,

Hope you are doing well! The admission to college is done on the basis of NEET rank. The rank to a particular score keeps on varying every year. So a score cannot say which college you will be admitted. After the announcement of the results, DMER Haryana will publish the merit list and after verification and counseling admissions are done.

So to get an idea of your rank in 2020, please use careers360 score predictor. Here is the link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

can i change General to general EWS category during Jossa choice filling. I have EWS proof certificate.

Akash kumar 21st Sep, 2020

Hey there!

Category can't be changed during the JoSAA counselling. The details that you have filled in the Application process is final, and there should be consistency regarding that. You could have changed it during the application correction window.

However, if you have the EWS certificate, then maybe you should at least once contact the concerned authority regarding that maybe they could do something.

the private mbbs medical collage of maharashtra takes of near me 1000000 per year from general category student I belong to ews category. can I have to pay 1000000 per year or 500000 per year ?

rachanapbennur 31st Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant!

When it comes to private medical colleges, the fees for government seats in private colleges is very less and they usually follow the fee strucutre prescribed by the government. However, for management seats it depends on institutions. Most of the private institutions have same management fee irrespective of the category the candidate belongs to. In case the fee strucutre varies for categories, then the institituion explicitly mentions it.

In your question you have not mentioned which college you are talking about. However, unless the college has mentioned explicitly that fee for EWS is less, you will have to pay the same amount of fee as general category.

can u suggest me any government college if got 77729 crl rank in jee mains and Im from madhya Pradesh and my ews category rank is 12751

sheemaashraf123 22nd Nov, 2021

the cut offs change every year depending on various factors however generally the selection depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp
