EWS category
Hello Aspirant,
See your category in JEE-Main application form can only be changed during correction window and now it cannot be corrected so you will have to proceed with the same category i.e. EWS.
Because correction window for session 1 was already live few days back and now that too has been closed so unfortunately you are quite late and now no correction can be done in JEE-Main 2022 session 1 application form.
Now within few days the application process for session 2 of JEE-Main 2022 would commence.
Now if you have any error in your JEE-Main session 1 application form then you shall proceed with it and if you think that it can cause you a lot in future then you should reach out to NTA regarding your issue.
However if you are an EWS candidate then it will be beneficial for you as it is a reservation category and cut-offs for you would be quite lower as compared to that of General candidates so I would recommend you to go with it if you have proper supporting documents.
I hope you got the point.
Good Luck!!!

Hi Aspirant!
Economical Weeker Section (EWS category) falls under the General Category, so it is written as Gen - EWS. Also, the PESSAT does not provide any reservation criteria for students of any category.
The admission is purely based on merit on the basis of score/rank achieved.
So, in the form you can fill out the Gen-EWS (if option is available), otherwise simply fill out General category.

Hello Aspirant ,
220 Marks is a very very good score in JEE Mains and you can expect some of the best engineering colleges with this score and having an EWS reservation will also help you get even better college .
According to previous year cutoffs your rank in the range of 1500-750 , you should note that these are just predictions and actual rank will depend on many factors like total number of ews students , difficulty of exams etc .
Hope this helps.
According to the previous year's cut-off and CMR mentioned by you,
******** you have few chances to get NIFT for B.Des. course.
Like last year for B.Des. 100 candidates were shortlisted in the CMR of 6744-8150.
See till now the NIFT cut-offs have not been released but as per previous year's cut-off data we have helped you with some predictions of shortlisting but note that above predictions can also be changed depending upon various factors such as :-
>>>>>> Total number of candidates appearing NIFT entrance exam
>>>>>> The difficulty level of the exam
>>>>>> The seat matrix for B.Des and B.F.Tech in each NIFT campus.
>>>>>> Performance of the candidates in the entrance exam
>>>>>> Previous years’ cutoff trends
You can check out complete details about NIFT cut-offs from the link given below :-

You can also use NIFT college predictor to predict the colleges in which you have some chances on the basis of your CMR :-
