EWS category
Hi!!!
Hope you are doing well.
Yes, there is women quota for BAMS in Maharashtra state counselling. For female candidates, reservation in government colleges is 30% and reservation in private Unaided Institution is 30%.
There is no such women quota open EWS category for BAMS. There is a GEN-EWS category and which cut off percentage is 10%.
Hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other queries. All The Best!!!
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing good...!!!!
As your EWS rank is 9586 ,I expect your overall classification rank would be 90000+ in this manner despite the fact that you are from EWS class there are just 2 rounds for confirmation in YMCA and the shorts are somewhat higher than your rank. Thus as per me it would be intense for you to get conceded into your ideal stream under all India category. But still your position is great and you can undoubtedly get a decent branch in a decent private school like VIT,SRM,Thapar, etc. So my recommendation to you is investigate other options.Best of luck.Hope you pick the best school.

As you have secured 10k rank in ews category and you are wanting to go for iiit jabalpur so let me tell you that there are chances for you to get a seat in iiit jabalpur in the civil and mechanical branches and some other lower branches.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hello
Yes, EWS reservation is definitely beneficial.
This is because,
There's 10 % reservation for EWS category due to which cut off goes lower when compared to general/UR.
For example,
SSC CHSL teir 1 2020 cut off is given below:-

From above it's clear that ews reservation is beneficial even in teir 1 of ssc chsl
Here's a brief of your ssc chsl examination pattern.
Your SSC CHSL examination is conducted in three levels or tiers which are listed below:-
----------------) tier -I :- it is Computer Based examination and questions are asked from General Intelligence, English Language, , Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
----------------) Tier - II :- it is a descriptive examination and is conducted in pen and paper mode . You have to write a letter or an application in 150 - 200 words and also an essay in 200 - 250 words either in Hindi or English.
----------------) tier - III:- it is a skill or typing test.
