EWS category
Dear applicant though it is very hard to admit but with 166 marks in NEET 2021 it is indeed difficult to get a BAMS seat through EWS Quota. Even for the private colleges too you need more than 200 marks for better probability of admission. The marks you got is just marginal to the cut off marks so possibilities are less but hopefully you may get a seat if there are available (vacant). Use our NEET UG college predictor to predict the possible colleges you can get based on your merit rank

Dear Student ,
As per the last year MBBS NEET 2020 cut off details , [in non-local] .. there's no reservation for EWS candidates and the general cut off score is : 569 which can predict that you have low chances to get this college through General category in SVU region basis .
But through management quota , you can get admission in this college .. the cut off for this procedure is 423[in Gen].
You can also check the cut off details from here :

Hey Aspirant!
Earmarking is an option for a Candidate belonging to Reserved Category. It is an option for those who choose a seat either under General Category or Reserved Category. One seat in the college where he/she was eligible for admission against open seat shall be earmarked for a candidate belonging to the respective reserved category.
For example, if a Candidate secures a rank eligible for a seat, lets say AIR 100. He/she can pick up a seat of his/her choice anywhere across India due to the privilege of his/her rank. Now he/she wants to take up a seat in a GMC in Maharashtra. He/she can pick up a seat either under General Category/Reserved Category. If he/she decides to opt for a seat under General Category, his/her Reservation can be opted for the next Candidate in the Category list. This is called Earmarking. Whole details of which you can check in official website.

Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.
So on such marks you have very low chances to get any of the private medical colleges under state quota of Karnataka as the cut-offs were around 400+ even for private seats in private medical colleges . But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-
BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks
Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks
Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks
Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks
Krishna Institute of Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks
Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks
JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha:- 239 marks
Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and RI, Puducherry:- 231 marks

You said that the EWS certificate, you have right now is valid from March,2021 to March 2022. Now if your EWS certificate was issued in March, 2021 then it was valid for the fiscal year 2020-21 i.e., the validity of the certificate was till March 31,2021. But if your certificate is issued after 1st April 2021, then its valid for the fiscal year 2021-2022. Now if you need the 2021-22 fiscal year certificate, then you apply now for the EWS and its expected that the certificate is going to be issued by March,2022 as a result, the EWS certificate will be the valid one for the Fiscal year 2021-22.
