i am expecting 550 marks in neet 21 from up gen ews category will i be able to get a gov medical college?

rajeevanand843 25th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant

In NEET 2020 uttar pradesh state counseling cut off marks for EWS category was Air 16994 and 606 marks in GMC bhairach.

so literally getting govt mbbs college in AIQ or uttar pradesh state counseling at your expected marks is really tough for you.

You might get govt BAMS college in Both AIQ and state counseling.

You can also get top private medical colleges in state like

Sri ram murti smarak medical colleg, bairally

Rohilkhand medical college

subharti medical college, meerut

Sharda University, greater Noida.

You can check previous year cut off marks for up state counseling from link below

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

i got 491 in neet 2021, and i belongs to ews category from bihar , max which branch can i get?

ADRIKA mONDAL 27th Dec, 2021

Hi,

With the marks of 491 in NEET 2021, the chances of getting a seat in government medical college is almost nil .For getting government MBBS seat you need to score around 580 in state quota and 610+ in all India quota for general ews category.  So getting a government medical college is very difficult enough. Rather you may try for private medical colleges which might be quite possible enough. The private colleges you may opt for may include-

NMCH Sasaram - Narayan Medical College and Hospital

Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College and Lions Seva Kendra Hospital, Kishanganj

Katihar Medical College, Katihar

Indian Institute of Health Education and Research, Patna

my sister got 40,000 rank in ews category jee mains .she is into JoSAA counseling process.can she get NIT... if yes then which one?..if not then any IIIT (she only wants CSE) and also if not then any other options of better colleges?

ANKITA SONI 24th Oct, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

With 40,000 rank, it's difficult to get a seat in NIT with CSE or IT. But with her category and female quota there's possibility to get a seat in eastern NITs. There's some IIIT which give admission at this rank with integrated course of CSE or IT. You can use the JEE College Predictor for getting admission in NIT, IIIT or GFTI.
