ews quota is not caste based quota so it can vary right ? for one financial year if you are fulfilling the criteria of this and for the next year if you are not satisfying the criteria it will not be issued to you. is that the case ?
Hello Aspirant,
EWS in India is a subclass of population correlated with the money established UR sector with an average of yearly revenue INR 8 LPA or less and not associated with classification SC or ST or OBC.
Candidates whose
- inhabitance of more than 5 acres of agricultural land is prohibited.
- The living area must not be more than 1000 sq ft.
EWS certificate can be utilized to benefit the 10% reservation for the unreserved- EWS in the education field and govt. jobs in India.
Failing to satisfy any one of the eligibility criteria will make you unsuitable for this quota.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
I am female EWS quota I got all India rank neet 407977 and EWS quota rank 49223 where I will get govt seat in Andhrapradesh native state and all India open other state quota in india
Hello aspirant,
As per the previous year cutoffs trend of Andhra Pradesh, you have less chances for getting admission in government college in your state or any other states for MBBS or BDS. Even there is less probability for you to get admission in private medical colleges through government quota.
You can get admission in private dental colleges under management quota easily. However remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff.

My mothers last name is Thakur but in my EWS certificate it is written as Devi. Will it create any problem in my admission through EWS quota ?
Hello Student,
Sorry to say you but is this can make some problems during admission in some colleges and for some examinations as well. But not in all examinations. My advice is that you should change or try to correct the the needed corrections by applying for new or just renew your ews certificate in upcoming financial year. You also can try to visit your nearest EWS office regarding the issue
i am from karanataka. My rank is 25226. I aiming anesthesia MD under ews quota.whether any chances in Aiq or I should wait for second round in state quota.
Hello Jayashankar,
It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, etc.
You can try for All India Quota if you won't get seat then go for second round in State Quota. You might get seat in Private Medical Colleges.

I got 7100 rank in eamcet. I am oc female having ews quota. can I get admission into the cllg of mahanandi
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have secured 7.1k rank in EAMCET and taking into consideration that you belong to oc female category and that too in ews category so you stand fair chances to get into the core branches of college of mahanadi.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

why there is no ews quota in some nits ?do they include this year or not?
Hello Aspirant,
According to the new rule, NITs have to expand 7,256 more seats over two years to include the EWS quota.
Out of 31 NITs, a limited number of establishments executed the quota in undergraduate programs the previous year.
The rest of the institutions have proposed for extension of the deadline.
The petition for an extension has been generated referring to the problem of assuring distancing in hostels and wait inflicted by the lockdown in the construction of the current hostels.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

got 84 percentile under ews quota. which nit would I get
Dear aspirant,
As far as your percentile is considered 84 percentile is very less for nits and that too in ews category. It's not possible for you to get good nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut.
But if your home state is one of these like Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Agartala, sringar, Nagaland, mizoram then you might have chances for nits.

I have scored 400 in neet 2021 , will i be able to get medical college in karnataka state under ews quota under 85 percent reservation for state quota ? Is ews quota applicable for government seats in private medical colleges in karnataka ?
Hello,
Firstly, let me tell you that each and every year the cut - off get changes depending upon many factors. This year lots of candidate had appeared for the NEET examination making the competition a bit more harder. Secondly for getting seat in any of the Govt. Medical College for pursuing BSc. Nursing, MBBS, etc. you must score at least 50 percentile (720 -136) for open category (General /EWS) and 40 percentile ( 137 - 108 ) for OBC/SC/ST General PH category.
Seems, you may get chance.
