Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing good ! If you have achieved 75 percent after back exam then only you will be eligible .

To be eligible to appear in the JEE Mains, candidates must meet the minimum score requirement of 75% in their class 12 board exams or place in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards .

Hope it helps you !

Thanking you

So as per your question, YES you will absolutely eligble to give the JEE Mains exam, if after giving the exam, if you score an overall percentage more than 75. This is not in any specific subject but in all subjects as a whole.

Hi, It would be very helpful if someone could answer this question. Im from Telangana state board, and took my 11th board exams in 2024. if I fail one subject but later score full marks in the improvement/ supplementary exam. Will I still be eligible to write both JEE mains and JEE advanced?

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes, you will still be eligible to write both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced , as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for jee mains:

To appear for JEE Mains, you need to have passed your 12th board exams (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject (like Chemistry, Biology, or a vocational subject).

Failing in one subject in 11th grade won't directly affect your eligibility for JEE Mains as long as you pass 12th grade with the required subjects.

Eligibility for jee advanced:

For JEE Advanced, you must be among the top performers in JEE Mains and pass 12th board exams.

Even if you clear the failed subject in a supplementary or improvement exam, you’ll be considered eligible for JEE Advanced, provided you pass all subjects required for your board’s 12th qualification in the same academic year.

hope you get it and find it useful

Best Wishes.

i live in ahmedabad but i belong to Uttar Pradesh i have completed my schooling and graduation in gujarat Im giving icar jrf exam i want benefit of sc category but i afraid that my application will reject what should i do because in neet exam they rejected my sc certificate of up.

mjaisinghani62 8th Mar, 2024

Hello aspirant

If tou have completed your schooling and class xii then you must have domicile of Gujarat and sc certificate from Gujarat.  Your form in neet may be rejected due to this reason.

To take benefits of Sc categryou must have Sc certificate of that particular state.

Now you belong to Uttar pradesh but you have completed your studies in Gujarat so you kust have applied for Gujarat domicile .

Eligibility for state domicile ( you are consists resident of that state if) is that you or one of your parents must have lived in that particular state for more than 10 years .

One person can't have domicile and sc certificate from two states .

You may contact government officials( Ration office )  for your problems . They will solve your issue .

What would be the 11 th mark if the government passed everyone without conducting the exam

shivamtrivedi0005 5th Mar, 2024

Hello aspirant,

First of all the government is not going to cancel the exams and we should pray that such a emergency may never arise.

But to answer your query, if such thing happens then students will be allotted marks based on their performance in school and past year performance.

Thank you

Hope it helps you.
