To get admission in Women Polytechnic College in Fashion Design, Faridabad. You have to give HSTES exam and you have clear the cutoff to participate in the Counselling, the exams are conducted in the month of may and then the counselling starts in the month of June. Therefore you have to wait till June for the admission process.

You can choose any stream of your choice for your 10 + 2 if you want to become a fashion designer.

This is because,

To be eligible there's no restriction on the stream you are from.

For example,

NIFT is the most popular and reputed entrance examination for B . Des i. e bachelor of design and t o be eligible for nift for B.Des.  :-

* You should be either appearing for 10+2 or should have passed it in any stream from a recognised board or Diploma of 3 years /4 years recognized by aicte or state board of technical education.

So, you can pursue your 10+2 in any stream for doing fashion designing

* Maximum age of  the aspirant should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of
the year of admission.  For Sc /st /ph candidates there's  a relaxation of 5 years.

But,

In case, if you are interested in B. F tech i. e Bachelor of Fashion Technology then you should pursue 10+2 in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics

see FDDI and NID Ahmadabad both of the institute is excellent in terms of college infrastructure, placement, course curriculum, students faculty ratio. however based on students review for bachelor of design course I would recommend FDDI hyderabad . college has excellent placement in top fashion industry like pantaloons, Skechers , Firstcry , Etsy and many more. however you must work hard and study out of college syllabus also. students are also offered internship from college campus. bachelor of fashion designing is a practical oriented course. students who are creative minded has excellent career option.

It depends on student to student as some students can gain knowledge about a particular topic in less time whereas other need to spend a little more time to learn a concept or theory.So there is not a fixed amount of hours a student in JD institute studies,you can maintain a flexible schedule and study according to your personal timetable.
