MY GMR - 7704 & OBC-B RANK - 507 & AM WEST BENGAL DOMICILED . WHICH BRANCH SHOULD I GIVE IN COUNSELLING FOR JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY ? CAN I GO FOR ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION OR PRODUCTION ENGINEERING ETC ? PLEASE HELP ME IN IT

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 10th Aug, 2021

Hi

In wbjee all the seats are alloted on the basis of GMR rank and not your category rank.

This is very difficult to predict which college you will get because cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam

--------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination

--------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam

--------) number of students from different categories

--------) seats available for different branches etc

But yes,

With your 7704 GMR rank , considering you  from OBC-B category,

On the basis of analysis of past years wbjee cut off data ,  you have low chances in Jadavpur University on branches asked by you or  in any other branch

For example,

In 2020 , in 3rd round of wbjee,   6057 GMR rank for obc-B category  was the closing/last rank for  Jadavpur University and it was for Printing Engineering/Printing Technology

You have chances in  colleges like :-

  • Goverment College of Engineering and Leather Technology, Kolkata:-IT :-8846

  • Govt. College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Serampore:- IT

  • Cooch Behar Government Engineering College, Cooch Behar:- Computer science

And a few more

As per per round 3 , 2020  wbjee cut off available at Official website :-

Consider the following Table 1 which represents unit labour requirements for the production of commodity X and Y by country A and B, and answer the questions that follow: 10 Table 1: Unit labour requirement for production of Good X and Y by Country A and B Commodity X Commodity Y Country A 9 40

Uttara 1st Jul, 2021

The question is a bit incomplete but to give you a general idea of the topic usually a country has absolute advantage in producing commodity x and y when-

1)produces greater quantity for the same cost or,

2) same quantity at lower cost than the other country.

In comparative advantage the country whose  production is based on lower opportunity cost is more better.

industrial production of Buttyric acid is done by

sreemoyeebha 13th Mar, 2021
Hello,
Butyric acid is produced at the industrial scale via mainly a chemical synthesis. This involves the oxidation of butyraldehyde, which is obtained from propylene derived from crude oil by oxosynthesis . Another method for butyric acid preparation is its extraction from butter. But this process is difficult and expensive. Another way is the fermentation process.
I hope this will help you
Thank you.
