Sumedha Bhattacharya 31st Jan, 2022

Dear Student ,

Generally in 1st year , students need to study almost all branches of engineering as a basic level with physics and chemistry subjects. Well, the syllabus may differ institute wise .. But , on average you can predict that there will be subjects like Applied physics , chemistry and other required subjects to be taught at basic level .

You can get the detailed syllabus from your preferred college's website (if available)

Generally some of the subjects may include in CSE(AI & ML) is as follows :[from 2nd year]

  • Discrete Mathematics
  • Applied Machine Learning
  • Digital Electronics
  • Data Structures
  • Python
  • Raspberry Pi
  • DBMS
  • Introduction to AI and others topics

Hope this helps !

which elective 5th subject I should take in class 11th -: a) psychology b) physical education c) food, nutrition & dietetics

mrinalini048 29th Jan, 2022

Hey!

You can choose any of these elective subjects based on your interests which also may depend on if you would want to pursue any of these subjects in future or if any of these subjects are close to what you will pursue after 12th. For instance, if you would want to take any course in psychology, you may as well take psychology now to strengthen your core knowledge about the subject.

will it be a waste of time for a zoology student if they take food science for msc? In the sense will the their bachelors in zoology affect their professional career when it comes to recruitment in food safety areas.

Arhana Chakraborty 3rd Mar, 2022

From the professional career point of view, being from Zoology background won't add any demerits to your profile. If you have good knowledge and skills in your PG, then it will suffice well in securing a job ahead. Also do focus well in the Final year project/Dissertation report you have to make. Be sincere with that as many companies ask questions from the Project as well.

Some of the top recruiters of Food Technology students are:

  • Nestle India Private Limited
  • Dabur India Limited
  • PepsiCo India
  • MTR Foods Limited
  • Agro Tech Foods
  • Perfetti India
  • Hindustan Unilever Limited
  • Coca Cola
  • Amul
  • Godrej Industrial Limited
  • Britannia Industries Limited
  • ITC Limited
  • Cadbury India Limited
  • Gits food products private Limited
