which is better IIT kharagpur Agriculture and Food engeenering OR IIT Lucknow CSE.

Hello student,

Comparing the colleges, IIT kharagpur is better than IIT lucknow but the branch you are getting in IIT lucknow is better than IIT kharapur.When compared to agriculture and food processing, CSE is better and has more chances of getting placements in good companies.However if you prefer good college over good branch, then i suggest you to get into IIT kharagpur.Both the IITs are good but the preference of branch depends on your own interest as you will have to study the same branch for 4 years.So please choose your college carefully and all the best

Hello Sangeeta Gupta,

To take admission for BSc in food nutrition course, there is no entrance exam required. All the colleges be it private or public, the admission is purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria includes that the candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, chemistry and biology each.

Hi,
There are many government colleges which provide degree in food nutrition . You can either go for btech from food technology or you can also pursue bsc in food science .
Generally admission is given on the basis of marks scored in 12 class or they conduct their own test.
Generally students opt food nutrition as a course in msc and they simply do bsc with food science .
There are good colleges which include
Mount Caramel College, Bangalore
Women's Christian College, Chennai
Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur

Iam from Tamilnadu, If I get a mbbs seat in aiims bhopal/Bhubaneswar/ jodhpur,is it advisable to take admission ( considering the distance,language problem, hostel stay and food etc.), how will the hostel and campus life be at these aiims? especially in the 1st year?

Hello,

I think you should take the admission . Most of the students do not get this wonderful opportunity and if you are getting it then you should not waste it. Moreover I do understand that there is a language barrier which I understand would be a problem but I think that is good for you to get exposure . After all you never know where your work life will proceed so it would help you in the long run. And for hostel stay for 1st year you would get a doubled room. It is well equipped for the students. It has a running mess serving 4 meals a day.

Yes, you can carry your food with yourself in the exam centre but not in the examination hall or you can eat your food at home and after go your exam centre.
