which is easy jee main btech or barch exam?

Guljabin Quadri 22nd Feb, 2021

Hello,

Both the exam have their own difficulty level. However, there is one little thing that might make JEE Main (Paper-II) tougher to crack as compared to NATA and that is the number of participating colleges. The number of institutes accepting JEE Main scores for B. Arch admission is far less than the colleges which accept NATA scores for B. Arch admissions.

limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year jee main question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

how much to score for good NIT in jee barch college ??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 14th Feb, 2021

Hello,

To have decent chances of getting seat in a NIT you need to score the cut off rank that is specified. Cut off is is different for each category and Institute. By analysing past year cut of trends the ideal score should be 280-300 marks if you belong to general category, for OBC-NCL it is 250-280 marks and if you belong to SC/ST you need to score minimum 200 marks. To check the cut off for NITs for admission in to B.Arch you can click the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning

Depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available the cut off may increase or decrease.

I am a 12th undergoing student preparing for NATA should i write the Keam exam to get into govt colleges in kerala to get a barch seat

Shrishty sahu 31st Jan, 2021
Dear student,
I would suggest you to appear for keam also just for a back up. You should have a back up with you so that if unfortunately you do not perform well in nata then you have the options of getting colleges in Kerala through keam. It is not bad to apply for more examinations, it just gives you more options to choose from and you would get a better possibility of landing into a good college.

I have applied for all jee papers BE/Btech, Barch, Bplanning. can I skip Barch and Bplanning and only appear for Paper 1(be/btech)? I didnt correct the paper in the correction window also. will it affect my result?

ayanmukherjee045 3rd Feb, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Yes you can attempt only BTech -paper 1 only instead of barch and BTech both. But if you would do remember that you won't get your fee back for not giving the barch paper. So kindly give a think whether you want to give or not so that your money won't get wasted.

I have registered my name for first Barch only and then I have registered seperately for Btech with same credentials but slight variation in my name and password. Will that be okay?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 9th Jan, 2021

Hello,

If your query is regarding JEE Main 2021 application then you can apply for both paper 1 and paper 2 in a single application. You do not have to apply separately for paper 1 and paper 2. If you have already applied for B.Arch and submitted the application you will be able to opt for another paper at the time of correction or change paper 1 to paper 2. Multiple application submitted by a candidate for same session will not be accepted. Your application might not be accepted also you need to give your details as per the class 10th certificate. As you have said you have slightly modified your name there are chances that your candidature may get cancelled of the information given in the application does not match with the details in your original certificates.
