Dear aspirant,
The aim of MBA in general management is to train students and professionals in managing the general operations of the company.
You can be pursuing this degree if you have a previous university degree and have several years of work experience. This is a 2 year course.
After pursuing the course you can either upgrade your current position or choose career in :
Good luck!
Dear Aspirant,
Please understand that it is not the profession that guarantees success in your career but your talent/dedication/ability to keep learning and change, which are some of the building blocks to a successful and long career.
So the first task is to understand what your strengths/talent are and then decide on the stream you intend to take. From the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2019, Xavier University was ranked 44, while Sri is not in the top 150. Hence Xavier’s placement record is better.
Good Luck

There are certain pros and cons of both:
In general MBA you will get to know all the aspects of Management, you will be provided Holistic Learning.
But you won't ace any specialization and you can't join any specialized area of interest.
Under Specialized MBA you will be having depth knowledge of your field, you will be ready to cope up with that particular Market.
Dear Silli ,
Hope you are doing well .General management and MBA in one specialization both are not suitable for all aspirants .It will totally depends upon you , for example if you are coming from Bachelor in marketing background would rarely move to different industry like finance .If you having strong foundation in one of the management so my prefer to go for specialization .
But both are holding equal position when we are taking about career scope .
Thanks

Yes, you can get jobs in healthcare and pharma companies after doing mba general management. Every company needs a marketing/finance/hr/etc managers to grow & take care of operations. Although these companies for the role of pharma and healthcare management, prefer mba in healthcare, but general mba can also apply for jobs.
I hope this helps.
Now there are laws that no Institution can withold the student's certificates. The Supreme Court has passed a judgement regarding this. But most students do not know this rule. You will have to talk to your college officials to help you give you back your certificates. In the beginning they will say No but you need to explain clearly and they will give your certificates but they will ask you for payment. But eventually they will give you your certificates.
