Dnb pediatrics is higher than md pediatrics. Dnb pediatrics is recognised even outside India. They are 2 types of dnb (primary and secondary). Primary dnb pediatrics is 3 year course done after mbbs. Secondary dnb pediatrics is 2 year course done after dch. The goal of DNB course in Pediatrics is to produce a competent pediatrician who recognizes the health needs of infants, children and adolescents .
both courses are good in its own way. on one head you will deal with children and on the other hand you will have to perform surgery. both the careers are equally rewarding so you should make a decision as per your interest.
hope this helps
