Is Kolkata Police Law Institute only for policemen and not for general students?

Prachi Kumari 5th Sep, 2025

Hello,

Yes, Kolkata Police Law Institute is mainly for the children of police personnel and serving/retired policemen.

General students usually do not get admission there. It is not open like a regular law college for all.

Hope it helps !

gmr 445 wbjee 2025 general home state west bengal, can I get etce or electronics instrumentation or cse in jadavpur university?

Shivani Chaurasia 3rd Sep, 2025

Hii dream !

The official 2024 closing rank for Jadavpur University was :

  • CSE - 309
  • Electronics and telecommunication - 502
  • Instrumentation and electronics - 672

Since the final 2025 data is not out the prediction of you getting a seat in various courses ( as per 2024 data is )

  • ETCE - it is totally achievable your rank of 445 is well within both 2024 closing and 2025 expected cut off.
  • Instrumentation and electronics - there's a strong possibility of getting a seat as your rank is within last year projections.
  • CSE - unfortunately the cut off is very competitive and your rank does not fall in range for CSE admission.

But don't get disheartened and as official cut off list is not out and we never know what can happen next. Wish you all the best.

I have obtained 9800 general category rank. Is it possible to take branch in obgy in government medical College. If Yes then guide me best college in mp, up, Delhi, gujrat ,rajasthan, Bihar, Punjab, jharkhand, Maharashtra and Haryana.

Ankur Mehta 4th Sep, 2025

Hey ! With a general category NEET rank of around 9800, yes, getting OBGYN in a government college is possible, though it depends on the state and the competition that year. States like MP, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana may have government colleges where you can secure OBGYN with your rank. In highly competitive states like Delhi or Maharashtra, it might be tougher, so keep a backup branch in mind.

My suggestion: check state-wise counseling cutoffs, apply both for All India Quota (AIQ) and state counseling, and keep alternative options ready just in case. With careful planning, you definitely have a chance!

Sir I am under OBC category but dont have certificate made now. So I have filled general category for May INICET 2025. Will I be able to change my category from GEN to OBC during further attempt in INICET Nov 2025? Should I register freshly for INICET Nov 2025?

lakshya sharma 2nd Sep, 2025

Hello Kavin,

Since you have filled the General category for INI-CET May 2025 due to not having an OBC certificate ready, you are wondering if you can change your category to OBC for the November 2025 attempt. The answer depends on the exam rules followed by AIIMS for INI-CET.

1. Fresh Registration for Each Session
AIIMS conducts INI-CET twice a year—in May and November. For every new session, candidates are required to complete a fresh registration process. This means you can update your details, including category, in the next attempt. So, if you have your valid OBC (NCL) certificate by that time, you can apply under the OBC category during INI-CET November 2025 registration.

2. Category Certificate Requirements
AIIMS requires the OBC certificate to be issued within a specific timeframe (usually within 1 year of the exam date and in the prescribed format). So, you should apply for your OBC certificate well in advance. Ensure it mentions “Non-Creamy Layer” and follows the exact AIIMS format; otherwise, it may get rejected.

3. No Change During the Same Session
Once you have submitted your application for INI-CET May 2025 under the General category, you cannot change it later for that attempt. The system does not allow mid-process corrections in category after final submission.

4. Next Attempt – November 2025
During the November 2025 registration, you can start fresh and select the OBC category. This will allow you to avail reservation benefits in that attempt.

In short: You cannot change your category for May 2025, but you can register afresh in November 2025 under OBC if you get your certificate ready in the correct format.

I have completed my B.SC pure(mathematics) general and currently pursuing B.Ed in Mathematics. I wanted to know if i am eligible for doing M.Sc in Mathematics?

Prachi Kumari 2nd Sep, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for M.Sc Mathematics .
But most universities ask for a B.Sc Honours in Mathematics or at least Mathematics as a major subject with enough credits in maths papers.

Since you did B.Sc General (Pure Maths), some universities may accept you, while others may not.
It depends on the eligibility rules of the university where you apply.

Hope it helps !

Can I get goverment pharmacy college with acpc rank 14072 sc category and general category for both if yes what are the name of that college I can get into

Ankur Mehta 1st Sep, 2025

If you apply through the SC category, your chances of getting into a government pharmacy college are pretty good. Reserved category cutoffs usually go much further, so you can aim for colleges like L.M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad, Government Pharmacy College, Gandhinagar, or Government Pharmacy College, Vadodara. Seats might also open up in later rounds or during reshuffling, so keep an eye on those.

Now, for the general category, it’s a bit tricky. Most top government colleges fill up quickly, so your chances are slimmer, but there might still be some lower-tier government colleges where a seat could open up depending on how other students take admission.

Tip: Always participate in all counselling rounds and keep both government and good private colleges as backup options. That way, you don’t miss out.

So basically: SC category – decent chance; General – tough, but stay alert for opportun

ities.

I have scored 288 in neetpg 2025..what is my possible chances of getting seats in all India....general and management quota only ...not nri quota....??

Kavya S P 30th Aug, 2025

If you have scored 288 in neet PG if you are from general management quota it is hard to get into government colleges because they usually need higher cut off for the neet PG 2025 so you can try for private institutions and management quota but your chances less you can attend counselling and explore all the opportunities
