Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
With 8131 rank in WBJEE (General), getting CSE in top colleges like Jadavpur University or IEM Kolkata is tough, since their cutoffs close within 2,000–5,000 rank. But you have good chances in:

Thank you!
For BAMS admission in 2025, the expected cut-off for the general category is a NEET score in the range of 720-155, with a safe score for a competitive college likely higher, around 600+ marks. Also, there are many factors that affects cut-offs, like NEET exam difficulty, number of applicants, competition etc.
I hope it will clear your query!!
With WBJEE 2025 General Rank 42,903 and OBC-B Rank 3,703, your chances in top-tier government colleges (like Jadavpur University, IEM, Heritage, Techno Main Salt Lake) are very slim, as their closing ranks are usually below 10k–15k in general and much lower in OBC-B. However, you still have chances in:
Mid-tier government colleges (some newer ones or with less demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy).
Private colleges under WBJEE counseling (Narula, BP Poddar, Future Institute, etc.) where you may get CSE/IT or better branches with your OBC-B rank.
If you want CSE/IT/ECE, it’s safer to look at private colleges. For government options, you may get core branches (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) in less competitive GECs.
With a WBJEE General Rank of ~50,000 and OBC-B Rank ~5,000, getting Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK), Kolkata is very tough. Heritage usually closes its OBC-B ranks within 1,000–2,000 for popular branches (CSE, IT, ECE). Even for lower-demand branches like Civil, Electrical, or Chemical, OBC-B cutoff is usually below 3,500–4,000. At 5,000 OBC-B rank, your chances at Heritage are very low, but you may get other good private colleges under WBJEE counseling.
With a GMR of 6,700, your best opportunity at government colleges lies with KGEC or Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, especially for core branches like Civil, Mechanical, or ECE. If your aim is CSE, IT, or ECE in private colleges, you stand a good chance of securing seats at Heritage, IEM Kolkata, or Techno India, especially in later rounds of counselling.
With a pharmacy rank of 23,597 in WBJEE 2025 (General quota), getting a seat in top government pharmacy colleges in West Bengal is highly unlikely, as their cutoffs usually close much earlier. However, you still have chances in private pharmacy colleges under WBJEE, especially in less in-demand ones across districts. You may get branches in colleges like Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Bengal School of Technology, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute, etc. mostly in private category.
With a NEET PG 2025 general rank of 1,00,000 and belonging to the OBC category, chances of getting a government college in clinical branches are almost nil since the cutoffs for OBC candidates in clinical subjects are usually much lower ranks. However, for non-clinical branches like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine, there may still be some scope depending on your state quota cutoffs, as they tend to go higher compared to clinical subjects. You should focus more on state counselling rounds and non-clinical options in government or private medical colleges. NEET PG College Predictor-

Hi!
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow does provide reservation based on state domicile, but for the general category, it simply means you will compete under the general UP quota if you are a domicile of the state. Reservation is mainly given to SC/ST/OBC/EWS as per state norms, but being a general category student with UP domicile will give you a seat advantage under the state quota compared to all-India general seats.
Best wishes!
Good morning, with a NEET PG rank of 6700 and General category, your chances of getting MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) at ESIC Medical College, Faridabad are moderate but not guaranteed.
Expected Cutoff for OBG at ESIC Faridabad (General Category)
According to 2025 estimates:
Round 1 Closing Rank: 3659–4353
Round 2/3 Closing Rank: May extend slightly, but rarely beyond 5000–5500
Your rank of 6700 is outside the typical cutoff range, but here’s where things get interesting:
Factors That Could Work in Your Favor
Later Rounds: If higher-ranked candidates opt out or upgrade, seats may open up in Round 3 or Mop-Up.
ESIC Quota: If you're an ESIC-insured candidate, you may benefit from IP quota (Insured Person quota), which has slightly relaxed cutoffs.
Seat Matrix Changes: If ESIC Faridabad increases OBG seats this year, the cutoff could shift.
What You Can Do
Participate in All Rounds of MCC counselling (AIQ + ESIC quota).
Keep backup options ready—OBG in other ESIC colleges or private institutes.
Track seat vacancy trends during counselling to make informed choices.
Hi,
With 482 rank in TS PGECET (General category), your chances in top branches at Kakatiya University (KU) Warangal are moderate because seats fill fast for Computer Science and ECE. However, for allied branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical, you stand a fair chance.
