see there is only few colleges available which offer master of science course in petroleum geology or geo sciences, however admission is based on qualifying exam score or entrance test conducts by the university.

Maharaja Saiju Narayan university boroda offers m.sc course in petroleum geology of 2 years of duration. eligibility criteria is candidates must have completed graduation course in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks in graduation.

banaras hindu university offer m.sc in petroleum geo science course of 2 years duration.

The eligibility criteria for B.Sc Geology is 50% in 12th with physics,chemistry and mathematics/biology as main subjects,so you you are very much eligible for geology.You should check the official website of the college you wish to apply in ,to know about the admission procedure . Some colleges will accept based on 12th merit and some will conduct entrance exam for the same, so you  need to check that and apply accordingly.The course deals with earth science and have a good scope in India and mainly abroad. You should do masters and eventually PhD for better job prospects.Geologists, oceanographers, seismologists, and palaeontologists are some careers options after geology course.The scope of the course is good and the starting salary will be around 4-5 lakhs p.a. (approx.) but after you gain experience,it may even go up to Rs. 18 lakhs per annum.
