IITs doesn't offer B.Sc Geology course.But IIT, Kharagpur  offers 5 year Applied Geology.The admission is based on merit in JEE advanced.So if you are interested in this course then you need to appear in JEE Advanced and qualify in it to get admission.Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.

Some colleges offer admission on the basis of graduation marks while other reputed colleges and universities give admissions through entrance tests.

The basic criteria is that you should have completed your graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks and above.

If you can tell me which college criteria you want to know , then I can elaborate on the entrance exam , because different colleges conduct different entrance exams.

Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply to Iiser scb exam. To apply at IISER through SCB (State and Central Boards) you have to register online and fill he application form on the application portal. After that you have to write the Iiser aptitude test.

Based on score in aptitude test merit list will be prepared AMD students will be called for counseling.

The admission to IISER will be given  based on merit and the total number of available seats in respective channels in dierent IISE. Depending on your choices filled, ranm and number of seats available you will get admission to a particular seat.

• First, you have to fill the  admission form offline by downloading it from the official website.
• You must have minimum marks of 55% in the equivalent board (10% relaxation if you are of any reserved category)

see you did not mention about any entrance test, but I assume it iit jam as per your profile, at this score you have less chances for iits, since only few iits offers geology course and intake is less for msc in geology.
