Sonali Sahu Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

Hello,

In updated syllabus, Artificial intelligence is included into syllabus. it will be in 3rd or 4rth year. If you opt for Hons. then it can be in 3rd semester. it will vary per board but it will surely there in syllabus.

If you want to learn and work on it then it would be better to Join IIT as it is mostly into research based work. IIT is funded by government and fortune 400 companies.

Here are some college names for suggestion:-

  1. IITs
  2. NITs
  3. BITs
  4. IIITs
  5. LPU
  6. NIELIT
  7. University(any)

You can choose any university. these above mentioned Institutes work on AI projects which will give you learning skills which will be useful in your future career. for private college and other government college, it is only theory. you can learn concepts but may not find platform to work on what you learned.

Hope it helps!

Im A BSc Geography student and want to persue MSc Applied Geology in Central University of Karnataka.which offers it BSc Geography students but will I be able to sit for UPSC Geo Scientists exam aftervit? and even if im able to sit in it and crack written exam will I scrapped i interview?

pdwords Student Expert 24th May, 2020

Hello,

When it comes to the eligibility criteria for UPSC Geologist Exam, candidates needs to have passed Master's Degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resources Management or Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Petroleum Geosciences or Petroleum 6 Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology from a recognized university.

Central University of Karnataka may be relatively new but it's an emerging university considering its repute of being a central institution. Now, coming to your question, as you fulfill the criteria of passing MSc Applied Geology from a recognized university, so you can definitely appear for this exam, nowhere in the official notification has it been determined about any rules considering subjects specific in graduation stream, also all the subjects mentioned regarding eligibility criteria are inter-related, moreover even your graduation subject geography is an allied subject of geology and talking about qualifying examination it will entirely depend on your preparation and the same goes for personality test as well.
