To get admission to M.Sc Physics in an IIT you need to appear for IIT-JAM Entrance Examination. The eligibility criteria to get admission to M.Sc Physics through IIT-JAM is that you must have Bachelor's Degree and must have studied Physics for at least two years/four semesters and Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters from a recognized board. So if you have studied Physics subject for minimum two years/four semesters and Mathematics for minimum one year/two semesters even as elective subjects you will be eligible to apply for IIT-JAM.
IIT Roorkee will conduct IIT JAM 2022 Entrance Examination. The Last date to submit the JAM application form was October 14, 2021. The examination will be conducted on February 13, 2022.

To be able to apply, they must maintain a minimum score of 50-60% during their bachelor's programme.
