see as you did not get selected in first round of shortlisting candidates then there is really less chances to get call for admission process. because if the all of the selected candidates join the course, there will  be no vacant seat, and chances for calling for admission is really less. so just don't wast any more time and started preparing for other exams.

Obviously it's their skill that matters. Companies when come for the campus interviews, come with some motive that they require such kind of students into their institutions to make their company live better. So if someone satisfies the given conditions, and impresses the interviewers way more, than they get probably the best of placements and in no time.

getting a job is not a quick process, all you can do you can make preparation for up coming interviews or written test.I would suggest you to have practice question from india bix, faceprep websites a sthey have previous years test questions. also follow glass door interview question before appearing in interview.

I heard about that my senior has changed her degree in Pondicherry university. So there are possibilities present to change the degree. But if you are getting any scholarship or stipend for the older course, that will be terminated. So think well and change.
