Graphics
Hi Srinithi!
You can look through BA in Graphic Design! It is a 3 year Course which deals with design, typography, etc,. In this computer world, graphics does have a lot of scope. Below are some of the Colleges which offer this Course:
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
Greetings,
so there are two kinds of graphics cards:
- Integrated
- Dedicated
The Intel UHD 620 is an integrated version which is not meant for gaming and such. For more graphic intensive tasks such as high level designing in CAD or Catia you'd probably require a dedicated graphics card.
Now, you cannot fix the graphics problem by upgrading to a laptop with core i5 in it, graphics cards (dedicated ones) are specifically mentioned and marketed while selling laptops. some basic ones include Nvidia GeForce MX150/MX250 and some gaming ones include GTX960, GTX1050, etc.
- as an ECE student, if you plan on delving into design or some AI related model testing then buy a laptop with a strong GPU (graphics card), otherwise for normal tasks like making projects, watching videos, etc. your laptop is just fine.
good day!
Hi. I guess you are asking about intel uhd and intel hd graphics. So let me brief you about both of them and you can yourself choose the better one. Here I am considering Intel UHD graphics 620 and Intel HD graphics 620.
Intel UHD Graphics 620
It is is an integrated graphics unit, which can be found in various ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processors of the Kaby Lake Refresh generation (8th generation Core). It is clocked with up to 1.150 MHz and therefore 100 MHz higher than the old HD Graphics 620 (max. 1.050 MHz) and offer a comparable performance. The exact performance of the UHD Graphics 620 depends on various factors like L3 cache size, memory configuration (DDR3/DDR4) and maximum clock rate of the specific model and as is similar to the Intel HD Graphics 620.
Intel HD Graphics 620
It is an integrated graphics unit, which can be found in various ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processors of the Koby Lake generation. The exact performance of the HD Graphics 620 depends on various factors like L3 cache size, memory configuration (DDR3/DDR4) and maximum clock rate of the specific model but is very similar to the old HD Graphics 520 GPU. That means only some less demanding recent games like Farming Simulator 17 run fluently in low detail settings.
Hope this helps.
Hi Ananda,
An architecture student should use graphic card because in architecture field you will be required to make 3-D illustrations and building prototypes, so that a graphic card oriented work as you require better colours and better visual performance. You could use a 4 GB graphic card of nVIDIA or any other company, that will be sufficient for your work.
Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
As per your question, honestly yes it is very important for an architectural student to have good graphics cards in your computer or laptop as at time of visualization it will operate faster than weaker graphics card. Honestly as per my point of view a quality graphic card will help you speed up and improve your architectural workflow with its RAM memory. This is because if you try to render your visualization, it will all be dedicated to that process.
You can use AMD or NVIDIA graphics for fast and effective experience while working on architectural software.
Hope this information helps you out. Thank you.
Yes, you can run Autodesk Maya, 2020 software on NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 Graphics Card. You can check the list of all other graphics card compatible for running Autodesk maya software on their official website at this link: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/HardwareCertification_Maya_Arnold_MotionBuilder_Mudbox2020.2_v02.pdf
Hope this helps!
After 10th you can't do any graduate or degree program in animation. Although there are some short term diploma courses for graphic design or animation, but, pursuing formal education and getting a degree is the ideal way to make a career in the field of graphic design or animation. I would suggest you to complete you 11th and 12th standard studies in any stream of your choice, and then pursue a BA, BFA, BVA (Visual Arts) or B.Sc. degree in the field of your choice.
Some of the degrees include:
You can also go for some of the short-term Diploma courses after passing 12th standard:
Hope this helps!!!
If you are looking to enter a dynamic business environment with your CSE degree, I would highly recommend Design Thinking. It will give you an extra edge over other candidates because employers across domains value the solution-oriented mindset that design thinking enables.
Having a background in Design Thinking would also make you a better candidate for leadership positions within your organisation once you get some experience with them. Again, this is because it trains you in being solution-oriented with your approach to solving problems. There is a reason that Design Thinking has been tried and successfully tested by companies such as Apple, IBM, GE and Nike among many others.
