Yes, you can opt for a diploma course along with any degree course but you cannot enroll for 2 degree courses simultaneously. Pursuing B.Tech and Graphic design simultaneously is good choice as you can get the technical as well as artistic knowledge.
Hope this helps you!

Dear,
The best way to pursue a career in animation is by getting a graduate degree or diploma in animation. But a graduate degree in animation is not very prevalent in India yet and only very few institutes offer this course at present. On the other hand, a host of institutes are offering diploma courses in animation. BFA is also a very important course to step in the animation arena. A bachelor’s degree in animation and the BFA are three-year courses whereas the diploma course in animation varies in the range of six-months to one- and-a-half-years. Depending upon the institution and the course you select the fee can cost you anything between Rs.50,000 to Rs.2,00,000.The starting pay package of these animators can be in a range or Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 per month.
Hope this helps!

Dear aspirant,
If you are interested in graphic designing then you should go with science( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ) + Computer science/information technology as additional subject. Though you can join many graphic designing institutes without a science background, it will be a good idea to get familiar with geometry, vectors, etc as they will help you in your careers afterwards.
However, if you think that you are not good with science subjects and good with mathematics, then go with Commerce + mathematics as it will also be a good side, and if you are allowed six subjects then opt for computer science also.
But if you have to choose between CS and Mathematics, choose mathematics as it will help you in your analytical thinking.
