Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. Coming to your question, NO, you need not give MHCET, to get into the colleges of Maharashtra. Although most of the colleges in Maharashtra accepts only MHCET, there are also few colleges which accept your JEE Mains score and also MHCET score. They consider either of these scores. These are as follows:
1) Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai
2) BVUCOE, Pune
3) Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai
4) Vishwakarma Institute of technology, Pune
5) Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune
6) Army Institute of Technology, Pune
7) KJ Somaiah College of Engineering, Mumbai
8) VNIT, Nagpur
9) AISSMS COE, Pune
10) Dr. D Y Patil Institute of Technology

This will help.
Dear candidate!!
There are some unavoidable circumstances when you might have to drop a year and resume it after a proper preparation. But since you are from Gujrat Secondary Board of Education if you drop a year next year it would require very hard studies and not appearing in the exam will not be a wise choice, and during your college admissions the ongoing batches are easier to pursue your studies.
All the best!!

Hello ,
See you are starting your preparation late , so it will be really difficult for you to get 90% plus in 12th , but it is not impossible , so my suggestion would be that you first take out the last 10 years question papers and then kindly solve or learn only those topics first which have been repeated more than one time in this way you will be able to score the maximum marks , and if you complete the last 10 years papers early then your exams then you will be able to cover up more topics and this way you can maximize your marks in 12th , also Iam sharing a link of career 360 , which has got all the information needed , for your help , please refer the below link .
