Sohamsengupta8 12th Jun, 2020

Hello student,

Actually this is completely depend upon your own interesting part. If you have interest in in engineering line then you should go for it. As this marks haven't exceed the cutoff eligibility marks of medical, you may not go into the medical line. But you should look for pharmacy. Otherwise if you want to do polytechnic or ITI course go for it.

Hope this will help you

hello sir , I am from gujarat board i get less than 75 percentage but I get 84 percentile can I eligible for NIT or IIT ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th May, 2020

Hi

You didn't mention the category you belong to dear , to be eligible for admission in NITs, IITs  etc you need a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam if you belong to general category . For those who are from SC/ ST category, they need a minimum of 65% marks in class 12 or equivalent.

Or

To be eligible you must be in the top 20 percentile in  class 12 examination

So check your eligibility as per your category, but if you don't fulfil the criteria, then you are not eligible for admission in NIT or IIT irrespective of how high  percentile you have got in JEE  examination

Thankyou

as i pass Gujarat board but have an domicile of Rajasthan and ST category in Rajasthan as my board marks not so good so i dont get good gov. college in Gujarat but as in Rajasthan the first preference is given to jee mains and I am getting MBM jodhpur so can i go or take admission in Gujarat colleg

Sharon Rose Student Expert 14th Jun, 2020

Hello,

For admission to Engineering courses in Gujarat government college is done through GUJCET. 60% weightage in 10+2 percentile and 40% weightage is considered to prepare a merit list. But as you say that you have not scored well in GSEB board it is better to go for colleges in Rajasthan. You have domicile of Rajasthan and if you score well in JEE Main you may have chances of getting seat in choice of your college.

Hello I did my PCM from GSEB Gujarat board and I had an score of 52% in PCM and 65 percentile so now which college should I aim next for Btech in CS and approx how much marks will I require in GUJCET to get that college , I can only have options for college in Gujarat

Soumili Majumdar 26th May, 2020
Hello there,
GUJCET rank is calculated using the formula :
(0.6*A)+(0.4*B)= percentile out of 100, where A and B are your board marks and your GUJCET score, respectively.
Now, 52% in PCM means you get 31.2 from this part.
Try scoring atleast 80/120, so that you get atleast 26.67 from this part.
Total= 31.2+26.67= 58.87 percentile.
Now, predicting the rank is difficult as the "rank vs percentile" changes every year.

You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you. The link is given below :

You can use the link given below to browse through the colleges in Gujarat, and know their cut-off ranks and fee structure :

Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

I got 80 percentile in jee mains and 56% in Gujarat board belong to ST category so can I get CS branch in MBM jodhpur

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 23rd May, 2020
Hello.
Well minimum eligibility percentage in your 10+2 must be at least 40% for MBM college , as you are having more than it so from this side you are eligible but if your mentioned percentile is of JEE mains January session of exam so I would like to inform you that MBM is one of the prestigious college and having good ranking so for that if it comes to General category so you may consider your good chances if you have percentile more than 98, with this your rank may lie under the cutoff but there may be variations because predicting directly from percentile will give ambulatory results as your percentile is prepared on the basis of the number of candidates who get marks less than and equal to your marks but in order to convert it into common rank we can use below relationship for approximate idea and here total number of candidates appeared for the exam vary for every session of exam so your rank from percentile would also vary .
Approximate Rank= (100- your score)* total number of candidates appeared for any particular session of exam/100.
Remember this formula is specifically for JEE mains percentile to approximate common rank conversation , so here in January session of exam number of candidates appeared was 8,69,010 so your approximate common rank with 80 percentile would be near about 173,802 now with this rank your chances of getting in your mentioned college even with ST category are less.
Now if you want to predict more colleges with your mentioned percentile score then you can go through the mentioned link and can use our college predictor tool:
https://dqxeclau.top/college-predictor
Now you have another chance to improve your JEE mains score then you should appear for the next session of JEE mains exam ,here NTA has reopened application window from 19/may/2020 to 24/may /2020.
Best of luck.

As i got 56% in Gujarat board and 85 percentile in jee mains as I belong to st categories so can I get RTU kota as bcz of less marks in board I have lots of pressure in my mind

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 22nd May, 2020
Hello,
No need to be pressurized. Exam is over and results is published. For admission, your rank should be in the cutoff range. You don't know what your actual will be as 2nd session of jee main is yet to be conducted.
Your jee mains percentile is good. You have reservation Category so you can use it for admission. Categorical rank will help you to be eligible for more college options.  It would be better to choose jee mains for admission provided the college accepts it.
If you are appearing for 2nd session then prepare well and don't get worried.
Your performance is in your hand. Rest is handled by the board. Even if you worry you can't change it.
Hope it helps!

For taking admission in Rajasthan Technical University, Kota you need to be eligible and fulfill the criteria set by the University.  The university conducts Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process for admission to BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch programs.
