Himachal Pradesh
Hello Aspirant,
Before coming to the detailed review of IIIT Una I would like to make you clear that in IIITs there is no Home State quota and the seat allotment is done only on the basis of your All India Rank, therefore you were unable to find out the home state quota for it. Now if we go through the reviews of the students currently studying their, then being the new IIIT, it has not it's permanent campus yet and the classes are being conducted at NIT Hamirpur, so if NIT Hamirpur is considerable for you then it would be the good choice. Now coming to the placement scenario, so it was established in 2014 itself according to which the first batch of IIIT Una has passed in 2019 and the placement records were neither too good nor too bad, we can say it as average, however all the students got placed, some through On-campus placement and some through off campus, obviously package was not that much high as provided in older IIITs like IIIT Allahabad, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior and so on. Also there are Libraries, separate hostel for Boys and Girls, Mess and so on.
You can get complete details about IIIT Una from the link given below :-

Now I hope you can conclude about the IIIT Una and for your reference I am enlisting down some other CSE colleges in Himachal Pradesh :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Dear Aspirant,
Rajiv Gandhi Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Paprola is one of the best BAMS Institute of the country and probably of the state as far as government institutes are concerned.
The number of seats for the course Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in the institute is extremely limited. Infact the number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants.
The number of seats for BAMS in the institute is only 60. Therefore, I hope you understand the gravity of the situation that you are in right now and the perilous condition of yours.
Although, you have ST or Scheduled Tribe Reservation, still you need a much better quota rank to back your contention for the seat in the institute. It is so because, the number of ST reservation seats are very few also and your rank is 139. It seems highly unlikely for you to get in PAPROLA Ayurveda Hospital.
At this point of time, you should look for other colleges and explore some good private institutes as well which provide admission to students of your rank. Before joining any of the private institutes, you should compare them against each other to know by yourself which is the better college for you to pursue graduation.

I believe institutes in both the states recieve fair shae of opportunities as well as provide im deoth engineering education as far as Government or State Engineering Institutes are concerned
As far as Core Branches are concerned, BIHAR being located near Industrial hubs and mineral rich regions of Odisha and Jharkhand, provide impetus in training and placements.
However for Non Core and Finance sectors I suppose, Himachal Pradesh being located near to IT and Tech Hubs at Delhi NCR, provide better prospects.
For more information regarding technical institutes in both the states do follow the link below

You have not mentioned the exam your query is about. Assuming that you are enquiring about NEET considering the details in your profile. Based on the cut off in 2018 under 85% state quota for SC category you have chances of getting seat in
However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
To check the cut off click the link below

You can also use our NEET college predictor to know the chances of getting seat in a college https://engineering.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
If your query is regarding any other exam then please mention the exam in the comment box.
Hi aspirant,
The cutoff marks change every year. It's depends upon number of students that appeared in examination, number of seats available in colleges, difficulties of question paper, reservation catagory, previous years cutoff trends, etc.
So as per last year of cutoff, For taking mbbs seat in government medical college of Himachal pradesh, you required at least 550 to 570 plus marks in neet if you belong to OBC catagory. And for BAMS course you required at least 430 to 470 Marks in neet.
You can use neet college predictor to know which college you may get with your marks:-
