Home Science
Hello Aspirant,
To calculate the total aggregate cutoff, you should include your best four subjects. And the best four should include one language (core/elective), 1 subject relevant to the course your are opting for and then remaining two best subjects. The last two subjects should be from List A to avoid any reduction in total percentage. If these subjects are not in the list then they are not considered as main subjects and you will have to reduce 2.5 percentage. Hence, yes you can take but check with the List A subjects and choose. Please refer the below article to know more on how to calculate best four.

Dear Kusum ,

Whats the major difference between self finance and Home science !
Self Financing courses are courses for which Government or UGC financial aid is not provided and student has to bear the cost of study and mostly working students do this course and meet the expenses of study themselves. Self financing courses cost more than the regular courses but the curriculum remain the same .Only this is the major difference between this course and all everything's are similar .
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
Hey
Since home science is included in elective subjects therefore you can add it in your best of four percentage.
This eligibility criteria can differ for another courses of science. Since for science subjects your science score percentage is taken into consideration that is PCB/PCM percentage. In this case you can't add another subjects for calculating your eligibility for a specific course.
So as per your choice of course, check your eligibility criteria.

Hi aspirant,

You have not mentioned the name of the college in which your seeking to pursue BSc. Hence it is not possible and vinvito answer you exactly and properly. Nevertheless, you can contact the administration of your college or can check iys official website to know when the new academic session would be started.
All the best.
Hai Muskaan,
Yes you can do LLB after BSc . You need to give CLAD/LSAT test to take admission in LLB . Some Universities also conduct their own entrance tests for admission, they also offer scholarship on the basis of your marks.
Hey!
As you have completed your undergraduate degree in Food Science and Nutrition, after this you need to pursue a PG diploma in nutrition or msc in food technology. Then, you need to intern for 6 months (training is mandatory) and clear the Registered Dietician entrance exam to obtain the Registered Dietician license from the IDA.
Hope it helped to clear your delimma
Thank you
to calculate four subjects percentage , you need to keep following things in the mind otherwise you may face deduction in your aggregate
1. you need to include one language subject (core/elective/functional)
2. one subject in which you are taking admission let say you are seeking admission in B.A history hons then you need to include history subject in your best four otherwise it may lead to deduction of 2.5 percent and if you are from science stream and taking admission in any of the arts course then it may also lead to a deduction of 2.5 percent.
3. rest two of the subjects you may include from the list A having (i will attach the link) , if you may not then it will also lead deduction of some percent.

good luck!
