i am arts student can take addmission in b.sc (hons) in home science

Vaishali Sharma 14th Aug, 2020
Hello Kajal,
It's not possible for arts students to take B.Sc honors   in their higher studies.
Because as an arts student you don't know any basics as compared to those students who had opt science in their 12th class.
You will find B.Sc very difficult of your background is arts.
Thank you

Is Home science can be included in best four subject for admission in Delhi University ? or there will any deduction for including homescience in best four?

lakshita shaan 13th Sep, 2020

hey,

to calculate four subjects percentage , you need to keep following things in the mind otherwise you may face deduction in your aggregate

1. you need to include one language subject (core/elective/functional)

2. one subject in which you are taking admission let say you are seeking admission in B.A history hons then you need to include history subject in your best four otherwise it may lead to deduction of 2.5 percent and if you are from science stream and taking admission in any of the arts course then it may also lead to a deduction of 2.5 percent.

3. rest two of the subjects you may include from the list A having (i will attach the link) , if you may not then it will also lead deduction of some percent.

for more information kindly go through the link mentioned below

i would like to ask you that what is the procedure for MSC Nutrition and dietetics after BSC home science (food science and nutrition/ human ecology and consumer service) what is the name of entrance exam that will be conducted before MSC nutrition and dietetics.???

Samarth Jain 3rd Aug, 2020

Mostly the admission occurs on the basis of your marks in Class 12th. Also there may be some universities that may be conducting their own exams for the entrance. But it is highly subjective and depends with the College you think of. So you should check the website of the college and then apply for admission.

All the Best!!!
