B.Sc in agriculture has a board course and offers great potential. It covers food production , animal rearing, horticulture, rural economy and development, environmental health, agronomy, soil science, plant breeding and genetics, entomology , plant pathology and biotechnology , etc.

In government jobs , one can become agriculture development officer (ADO) and block development officer (BDO). At this high rank of yours, it is going to be extremely difficult for you or rather impossible for you to get a agriculture or horticulture seat in a good Institute. You should know that the number of seats in both agriculture and horticulture is extremely limited. It is so limited that it pales in comparison to the total number of applicants. In order to secure a seat in good Institutes ( mostly govt and top private institutes) , you need to score a rank  less than 3500 and 3000 for agriculture and horticulture respectively. You have a pretty high rank of 4400 in the unreserved category. You should know the total number of seats of agriculture in Bihar through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. In Bihar Agriculture University, the total number of seats for b.sc agriculture is only 325 in total. Now compare this to your ranks and you will realise the problem in the situation. The number of seats as compared to the number of applications is quite limited and pales in comparison. Although you have backward caste reservation, still you need a much better quota rank to gain some significant chances of being part of government institutions for pursuing Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.

Your rank is quite high , so probability of securing a seat in some top tier government college would not be possible for you but you can definitely try in some private colleges where you stand a chance to secure a good seat and I'll suggest you to wait till the final counselling as the prediction I'm making is according to previous year numbers and the numbers do change a bit every year, so you may have a chance  in some very good colleges.
